Geese are revealed to be extremely indicated for a rather unusual purpouse. Taken from QI XL series G episode 2 "G-animals"

John Hodgman is a comedian and author. He was a semi-regular in the daily show for a few years and is famous as the face of PC in Apple's mac vs. PC ads.

Misspelling is intentional. Gooses is nonstandard for geese but was used to make the title more catchy.

I'm currently studying Rabelais' Gargantua at University, today we looked closer at this fantastic syllogism from chapter 13: "Il n'est, dist Gargantua, poinct besoign torcher cul, sinon qu'il y ayt ordure. Ordure n'y peut estre, si on n'a chié: chier doncques nous fault davant que le cul torcher." which roughly translates to: "There is no need to wipe one's ass, said Gargantua, if there is no filth. Filth cannot be there if one hasn't shat: shitting must therefore happen before wiping" The more observant will have noticed the anadiplosis (ordure ; chier/filth ; shit).

Michael mcintyre
@dannymcbrearty97857 жыл бұрын
Vegard Riis not even comparable. Lock is able to improvise comedy and his charm comes from his otherwise everyday appearance and nature. McIntyre does comedy he didn't write in stadiums, and his humour is derived from zany voices and actions. Lock is Britains funniest man.

That's John Hodgeman, and yes he is an American comedian. He appeared as a regular correspondent on The Daily Show a couple years ago and was particularly known for appearing as the stuffy, useless "PC" in Apple's "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ad campaign.

He's an American comedian. He frequents The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent, or at least he used to. They shuffle through correspondents fairly quickly in that show (with notable ex-correspondents being Steve Carrell and Steven Colbert).

[Still shrugging] Tone translates very poorly in internet comments. This manner of writing limits the problem somewhat. I admit I took the idea from Mass Effect. I thought: if it avoids unnecessary misunderstandings with others, why not? Still think it is a decent idea.
@Lorenzogino11 жыл бұрын
John Hodgman? Yeah he's a comedian, works on the Daily Show. He was added at the last minute because he was there to watch and they thought it would be neat to just let him come on.
