If a person is uncomfortable in a situation they don't have to paste a smile on and pretend everything is okay. It seemed more like obsession than admiration. You have to be careful with those kinds of people, there's a chance their idol shows anything to them it could drive them deeper into obsession. That sounds like a paranoid thing to say, but there have been cases of fans stalking or even attacking idols. Those situations just show us the typical double standards. When women contestants say "I love you Simon" or "I love you Louis" they answer them that they are so cute, they give them hugs and kisses and sometimes even they pass their performance even if they singed bad.
