I would recommend that if you want to know how to put on makeup realistically, then start watching youtubers who are actual MUAs as part of their job, not just on KZbin. You’ll get a LOT of tips from them about how to do makeup, especially since professional MUAs have done makeup on people for multiple occasions. Also, keep in mind that a lot of the beauty influencers are using their viewfinder or their monitors to judge whether they are wearing enough makeup. An application may look good in person, but won’t show up on camera unless piled on. Unfortunately, since the majority of the demographics for beauty gurus are teenagers, teens think that the beauty gurus trust what they’re doing, and end up making the same mistakes themselves.

One of the comments I’ve heard from professional MUAs that are on KZbin are to think out your eye brows as sisters, not twins. They need to look decent and fairly symmetrical, but they don’t need to be 100% symmetrical or perfect. Though I can’t stand the blocked bushy caterpillar brows. That look doesn’t flatter anyone.
