Früher wollten sich die CD-Jünger von der "ollen" LP = Platte distanzieren und sagten CD - nach dem Vinyl Comeback stehen beide gleichberechtigt nebeneinander und jetzt sagt man wohl wieder Platte (oder Scheibe).

Hahn is a German name. Her parents are German-Americans.

@@jaikee9477 The fact that her parents are German-American doesn't answer his question. He wants to know how she learned German. (FYI, her parents are *not* from Germany)

@@mikeymike4402 her grandparents are from Germany and I would guess that she has cousins and relatives who live in Germany. That's how. Because her dialogs are really good! just like a native-speaker. you can't learn that at school or from the internet.

@@neptunians You can. But she actually said in an interview that she learned a bit of German at the Conservatoire and then took further studies by immersion.

1.Q: How do you feel in a club like that? A: I think that classical music fits every situation and it's fun to experiment a bit and to see what works well and what doesn't work so well and I never made any negative experiences "where this was falling flat on its face" 2.Q: Is this your first time in a club? A: No, not really, I already played in clubs in Berlin, Dresden, at cafeterias in university campuses and so on - and on city streets - thats fun...

3. Q: You are young. Do you go out every single night? A: No, usually I don't do. When I am on tour, I am often on my one and I don't know the town very well and usually I have to play a concert on the next day - so sometimes I go out but not every day... 4.Q: Please show me your violine (the moderator is a Frenchwoman and this question sounds like "show me your passport, please?" ;-) and so on...

You are wrong. She has American citizenship, not German. Except for Native Americans (Indians), all Americans trace their ancestry back to other places.

Her father’s father was from Germany, but she is American. She learned German in college. French and Japanese, as well. Seriously a genius!

Sie ist aus der USA, ihre Vorfahren kamen aus Deutschland, deshalb kann sie Deutsch so gut. She's from the US, her family was from Germany, because of that she can speak German very well.🙂
