I overall love it but I don t like the tiles in the shower 9:13 cause the ridges in them will hold germs, unless you scrub the shower tiles after every use.

Why do they act like they were living a horrible life just because a few things weren't perfect? So many ppl are living way worse and have no choice and make it work. They would easily trade flats/lives. We have no idea how privileged we are and put so many others down with our careless words. Hillary however is fantastic as always she does magic, she certainly did here. Happy for the family, the house is beyond perfect now in every way. Love it❤

Yes and no -both. I work with top developers and I think that the open kitchen is here to stay. I have heard so many moms saying they want to be able to see their children playing in a room when they are in the kitchen. So I think the open kitchen, living area is still here. Whats added in upper end houses are butler's pantry's which are essentially another smaller kitchen (another smaller room), now painted dramatic colors. What also will be added are small quiet enclosed areas for home offices . That is essentially just a chair and a table for a laptop, with a background wall for ZOOM calls. Pocket doors enclosing these spaces. So, yes, they will be putting up walls, but in new configurations and for new purposes. And you are correct, its not completely open concept in future residential planning.

"You are so literal." Hilary judged her client. Only afterwards did she say "It's actually quite endearing, isn't it?" Still judgmental and insincere! I'd fire her on the spot. Hilary has to learn to control her tongue. Do your job as a decorator and not as a guilt-causing mother. Explain to your client what is second nature to you. Your client is not a decorator. She doesn't work in a showroom, and it was her first time seeing all the possibilities in home decor and remodeling. I actually loved this female homeowner because she was articulate in what she wanted, disliked and needed. Some people are so ambiguous that you have to try to figure out what to do for them. Hilary should've focused on the positives. Incredible.

That woman has absolutely no imagination. I worked in property management leasing for years and, people had NO imagination on how to place furniture etc I had to help people. I would take out paper and pen, ask what furniture they had and place it for them in a drawing.
