Hildibrand serves two purposes for the dev team. The first and most obvious is the opportunity to make narrative shitposts in their otherwise serious game. The second and more practical is to test out more extreme facial animations and mocaps in order to benefit later animations in the regular content.

You can place a flag anywhere on your map by holding CTRL and right-click on the map where you want the flag. I do this all the time to navigate easily without constantly having to open the map and check my location, since the flag direction is always shown on your minimap no matter how far away it is. This will also create a tag in your chat channel that allows you to share the location with other people if you want. Just click on chat and hit return to share the flag. Other people in chat will then be able to click on it and the flag will be placed on their map too. It's a super useful system that is used a lot by groups doing hunt trains or treasure maps.

Hey I just noticed that you weren't eating food with your lancer. Eating food last for 30 mins (an hour if you eat 2 of the same thing). Most importantly it gives you 3% exp which adds up over hours of playing. Always be casting and always be eating! Good luck!

TY for the reminder! I kinda forgot all about it when I switched around with classes in that stream. Eat and cast, this is the way!
