The crazy thing is that the N1 and X1 probably would have destroyed them all too. Also, I would pick the Ownboard Zeus or the Ares X1 Street over the Pivot GT any day of the week. Not sure why the pivot is getting so much praise, it's a very basic setup. The Endurance however, what a board. Can't wait for the V2..

Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question, I'm new to the esk8 scene, but what do you mean by the pivot being basic? I've also seen a couple reviews on people preferring the pivot over the zeus.

The N3 is a beast. I’m surprised to see the mboard in last considering it cost the most 👀

Great video but man the Endurance should have had 6in wheels to be a valid comparison. Acceleration will always be slower with the larger wheels. Especially with the smaller gears. High speed gear ratio compared to high torque ratio 😢

so i thought of that too. but the stock top speed with the standard 58t 6” i thought would need help in this 170 yard dash. The 4 teeth would be a small sacrifice for more mid range power and top speed for this distance climb. and my dyi is 60T with 6” with a lot more speed and torque off the line, so again it made me think the 55T n 7” would help it a bit. but ill put the stock setup back on with 58T and 6” and see the timed difference 💯

@@esk8unity And technically for a 7in set up you’d want the 66t for a short hill torque test. Or just bring the wheel size down to 6in on 55/58

You also got 16t motor pulleys a stock 15 like in the rest would add torque ​to the unity, kind of valances out @@esk8unityfun video

Yea I am sure the endurance can do a lot better with the right setup, but it looks like the N3 is also geared for top speed, according to their spec sheet. But smaller 7inch tires.

Nice to see the comparisons! Doesn't the Endurance pick up speed a bit later from mid-range too? It would be nice to see another race that is 2x the length of this one since certain boards are tuned for more mid range power.

I cant wait for the N3 review! I don't need that kind of power (my Titan is PLENTY for me), but that new truck and deck design looks bomber! If it truly does have the caviness and the ability to turn tighter of a DKP, but also the stability of a TKP, I want it! Other than being kinda thick, it looks sick too!

If you really want to see what the Mboards can do on such a short sprint turn up the motor amps and add throttle curve. Mboards will walk you through it with a phone call. Out of the box the board is more set up for smooth take-off and strong mid-range power so you would need a longer hill test to see the endurance's power...like that previous hill test you did where the endurance obliterated everything... I'd love to see The Nomad versus the endurance on that longer hill if you don't want a monkey with the vesc settings which I know is not your thing.

i understand. but if i turn up the vesc, where does it end? maybe change the settings inside the foc , gear it differently, or gear a hadean or a pivot differently. make it go longer for a bigger stretch and possibly beat them all. i get what u mean, but we have to stick with out of the box cuz then everyyyyyone is gonna want there own changes to there preferred board. then it doesnt end. i do however disagree with the “smooth take off”… plenty of hobbywing/foc/lingy and even my vesc is a “smooth take off” and still great power delivery. i do however think if they turned it up a bit, it would be a good medium. but thats on the manufacturer. I would love to see some diy guys make there own comparison videos tho cuz they wanna suggest all kinds of vesc tweaking with different boards but it seems they never wanna make the video themselves. id love to see it and would 100% support it/subscribe 💯

@@esk8unity I understand your point of view which is why I suggested the longer hill climb you've done in your past videos rather than changing settings...I think the longer hill gives more info. I especially liked in that previous video how you raced them head to head. Was awesome to watch the real-time performance comparison on takeoff vs midrange vs top speed. And I agree, we need more DIY esk8 content on KZbin!

@@KmanRuffian i hear ya. so if i do a reaaaaallyyy long one then others will complain they want a reaaallyy short one and they will get upset that they might not race there boards 5 football fields long. instead they wanna see 1-2 football fields long. then everyone is gonna want there specific race settings just like the boards tweaking. i think 170 yards was plenty to show a good comparison of a dashed style race thats certainly not too short and not crazy long. the orginal mboards video i just kept going cuz it felt good to fly up it 😝. if u watch, the hadean smoked it off the line but then the mboard started to creep then it was bye bye 😂. none of the boards were even close after about 40 yards. so going thatttt long was irrelevant at the time anyways. yea i agree. if u ever find a diy channel comparing boards leme know 💯🤘🏼✅👍🏼

Nah, thats how its acceleration is. esk8unity says in the video he was full throttle. The endurance is still an amazing board.

Neat comparison, but I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would ever really need/use this level of power and acceleration! To me it's nothing more than comparing d!ck size for bragging rights. These upper end boards were already too powerful for 99.9% of anyone's enjoyment needs or safety as it was, but they keep getting faster and faster. At some point people are just going to get hurt with so much power on tap. Don't get me wrong, I'm a speed demon when I (somewhat safely) can be, but on a esk8, it's really easy to get seriously F'd up!
