Aged horribly? I think we're at a stage where so many people in Hollywood live by the knife, some of us just can't understand natural aging. Saying they've aged horribly is ridiculous - they're simply AGED.

For people in their 70s and 80s they mostly look fantastic. I know people in their 50s who look older.

Great series! A great cast! I had a huge crush on Captain Furillo. Sad when Michael Conrad died. He was a terrific actor. “Hey, let’s be careful out there!” RIP! 🙏🏻

I think about this all the time. I think it should be an hour HBO type series with a slightly more serious tone, but still comedic in the Sopranos type sense. Should definitely still be set in the same time. Some actors that crossed my mind would be Shia LaBeouf for Belker, Zac Efron for JD, Donald Glover for Washington, and Joseph Gordon Levitt for Furillo to name a few.

Hill Street Blues was one of the best cop shows ever produced, maybe the very best. Of all the cast members in this video I think all but two were excellent in their roles, Barbara Bosson and James B. Sikking. I never understood or believed Barbara Bosson as Captain Furillo's frantic and overbearing wife Faye. Her character was a superfluous distraction, but she was married to the show's producer Steven Bochco so what can you say? As for James B. Sikking as SWAT team officer Lt. Howard Hunter, this was a total caricature, not a role of any substance or believability.

I LOVED Lt. Howard Hunter. He had some of the funniest scenes in the series, as well as some rare poignant moments. 💙

@@MoonOverYou Hill Street Blues was one of the most consistently excellent in writing and acting of any television series ever produced and every character, even Lt. Howard Hunter, had some fine moments. But I found him to be a very one-dimensional military zealot who seldom if ever showed any humanity and always wanted to go in shooting then ask questions later. I need to make a correction. Faye was Captain Furillo's ex-wife and I would be willing to bet he was the one who filed for divorce. PS. Barbara Bosson was born November 1, 1939 and died February 18, 2023 at age 83. James B. Sikking was born March 5, 1934 and is still living at age 90.

None of the actors in the cast of Hill Street Blues was young. They're all in their 70s and 80s now. Of course they're going to look a little worse for wear.
