Hillary Bailey Smith has done an outstanding job of playing the relatable extraordinary everywoman who is the best love match for male characters from core families on three daytime dramas. Of all of Bo Buchanan's love interests on OLTL, Nora was his true love. The same can be said on ATWT in that Margo was Tom Hughes' greatest love. And though she was on for a short time on THE DOCTORS, Nurse Kit was the best love interest for perennially unlucky doctor Mike Powers.

castlist44, that's not true. Bo loved Delila, Sarah and Didi. Nora was not his one true love.

@ThePinkgirl80 Hank was slowly phased out of the show starting around 1998. He left for good around 2003 or so, making a one day return in 2009.

Sarah was still alive when Nora arrived. Gosh.... don't recall the year Hank left... but he was around until the late 90's.... perhaps early 2000's,

@mojomiller2003 She premiered on September 23, 1992 and first began shooting scenes the last week of August 1992. She was reported by an article dated on August 31, 1992 to be signed and scheduled to air September 23.

Never thought I'd see this, it's wonderful! Nora was certainly in fighting mood back then. She may have been right about Rachel not staying in Llanview though. I miss Hank, and Hank/Nora scenes. How long after this was Sarah killed? They're already setting up the story with the headaches, which led Nora to think she'd run Sarah's car off the road. I didn't realize this had started as soon as Nora arrived.

The actress that played Sarah was leaving the show, so they did not kill her off to make room for Hillary's character. They chose to not replace Sarah with a different actress.

@@68darah No the original Sara left in 1990. They brought in a new actress in 91 and killed Sara because The new actress was not well received. They just should’ve written the character out until they could get Jensen Buchanan the original Sara back
