Kris J well then let's forget it's a gay man talking about a show that normalizes uhm.. how to say this appropriately. Alternative relationships. This is what they do, it's called desensitising. No one says " hey, we shouldn't do that" because hey it's on TV so it must be acceptable. And I'm not saying it shouldn't be on or watched, I'm just saying the truth of it, it's pandering...

Robert Bradford your speaking your truth not necessarily everyone else's. If it doesn't please you or you don't laugh at it then it's simple enough not to watch it, or click on anything that pertains it. it doesn't offend me, in my head there's nothing that says "hey we shouldn't do that" because it's not anything out of the box for me. It's a great show, with great writing and if it does effect you the same it's an easy fix.

Kris J obviously you missed the point, I did say " I'm not saying it shouldn't be on tv or shouldn't be watched" and I have watched it, not my favorite show or anything like that but that does not change the truth of it, whether right or wrong. It's the tv being used to desensitise the masses to an idea or opinion doesn't matter what it is , it's absolutely true of every show, ground breaking ideas " no they wouldn't" yes they would and they do. That's all I'm saying about it, not that it's a terrible show about a terrible thing but it's a show being used to pander an ideal

I feel like the people who go into acting from my generation are SO different than those who go into acting nowadays. Eric and Debra are two neurotic yuppies who had formal acting training at the end of the 80's which was probably the last decade where stage acting was looked at as a "semi" respectable profession before Broadway became a free for all in the 90's and everybody had to head to Hollywood just to scrape up some money from any sitcom pilot they could land. People approach show business so much differently now and it's interesting to see the differences between seasoned actors and those who don't even bother with formal training now, and just head to movie auditions. You basically have to either start acting as a child or be a model to get any call backs nowadays.

Jonathan Gwynne That's natural aging, and jetlag. In my late 20's I flew over to the US (MJ's funeral) and had creases from sleeping in one position on a long haul flight. Lasted for 3 days. All pic's subsequently got Photoshopped to sh*t. I remember one crease looking kinda cool, it ran right down the centre of my right eye, kinda like a war scar. Made pencilling my brow on that side a bit tricky.

Will & Grace is Back ... and it sucks. As a tool to personalize a marginalized community, it was wonderful and hilarious. As a tool to provide a one-sided agenda, it is painful to watch. The jokes are flat, the manic chemistry has long since fizzled out like an Alka-seltzer tablet 30 minutes after its introduction to a glass of water. Oh and for God's sake ... TURN DOWN THE LAUGH TRACK!!
