Going Across the Sea is a traditional fiddle tune. It was played by Middle Tennessee banjo player Uncle Dave Macon. Featuring my fiancé Evan Winsor on the guitar. We filmed this video in a beautiful home in Nashville, Tennessee. The video was filmed and edited by Kaitlyn Raitz.

Hillary is my absolute favorite modern time old timey fiddler/dancer! Love you Hillary. (Tune is kind of like Angeline the Baker huh? All these old melodies borrow lyrics from each other.They been floating around out there for a couple hundred years though.)

Aww! 🥰 Thanks so much! This song is usually done in A, and the B part is like the B part of Angeline the Baker. Yes, many of the old songs borrow lyrics from each other. Uncle Dave Macon did this one. He came from Middle Tennessee, just like me.
