Exhaust manifold design is to blame. Any six or twelve cylinder can achieve this type of sound with equal length headers into a 6-to-1 collector (one for each bank on a V12). Easy to achieve on an Inline 6 or V12, a bit trickier on a V6.

I drove in the inaugraul renault 3.5 v6 series in 2003. The engines were blocks from the Velsatis but heavily modified. Very torquey and punchy throughout range.

Funny story time: I somehow in my morning 'Tube binge had about 20 tabs open and this one ended up opening a jpg picture instead of a video tab. The next few minutes were a feverish search to figure out where the video went as I desperately wanted to find out if this was the car I heard some years ago. Worth it. (Had to go digging for the other car I was thinking of, too; 2012 Alpine A110-50 Concept)

Irfan YXP Maybe, but the NSX engine(C32) is a 90 degree V6, this engine in the video 60 degree Nissan V6 engine(VQ35DE) . Most of the JGTC NSXs ran a destroke setup & equal length headers but those sound high pitched.. So dont really think the NSX engine could sound this deep..
