NA Builds are Art. You can't just shove more air in courtesy of a power adder. Theres real science behind port architecture, valvetrain stability, cam characteristics, and many other variables that work together to help increaese flow and scavenging. Love the old saying "Boost is for poorly designed engines, Natural Aspiration is Art & Engineering at its finest."

​@@joe125ful No doubt...but gaining every additional horsepower out of an NA Build is much more difficult, and becomes exponentially more difficult as power rises.

@@ryanbrown918 Yep this is why turbo cars produce always more power and are more reliable. For example in Japan engine you can slap new twin turbo,new cooling,intercooler and some minor parts and get 100-150Hp+ and your engine still be very reliable. But doing same in N/A engine takes much more work,lose more engine reliability needs more testing etc. But i like both engine type.

I for sure preffer high pitch na sound but ofc the rotor is japanese and american supercharged v8s and tuned rb engines all sound amazing especially the turbolag noise but theres just something when you know its naturally aspirated and the screaming noise that blows me away since im a child haha​@@joe125ful

Holy crap I love this group! Some of the craziest coolest comments to this particular video, what's up?! Life's a bit rough lately so a good laugh is really good medicine, much better than anything in a pill. If you're stuck in the pits, you're not in the race you're at the race. Now it's time for me to watch the turbo cars....oh I almost forgot to mention I'm still kinda loyal to VW so the mk1 sciroccos that fell off the edge of the page are missed in this video. BUT! I happen to dig 360 Modena Ferrari's. They must suck in some way because I literally never see anything good bad or indifferent regarding the 360. Weren't they priced at $130k when sold new? Yeah I know, "if you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it" and I would add "so don't bother, but feel free to look at it while you can." Cheers

There's quite a few phenomenal NA cars here, but if I can only take one to keep for myself, you know it's gotta be that absolutely _glorious_ BMW M1... I'd blasphemously take that M1 Pro Car, remove the livery, completely spray it in either Polaris Silver to stay true to the M1, or respray in Dravit Grey, both or either I should say of which, would get the full, super rare brown leather fitted around what's necessary.... make sure I've got some spindle mounted BBS E50 centerlocks in gold....yup, with a G-Force or Quaife 6spd dogbox H-pattern trans 👌😅

Our #2 engine which I run in this videos 2023 Wolsfeld race is RPE 2.6l V8 which has stock Hayabusa gen1 pistons (stock compression), heads and cams and maybe 60-100 running hours. That’s why it makes “only” 345hp. Our #1 2.7l engine we have been running this year is already on another level with over 400hp being still mildly tuned compared to those Judd’s, but already in the range of 150hp/l. The engine has potential for 160hp/l. But anyway we are comparing a real race engine designed to be a race engine and a cost effective little v8 with production motorcycle components, for sure there is a difference. The RPE engine is smaller and lighter which is its advantage, I could never fit a Judd V8 in the stock Starlet engine compartment.
