Dude I just looked at a 2012 rk classic in Reno and it had a 21" dna mammoth front wheel. The freakin paint was bubbled right where you said. There was a kick ass lookin one on American Motorcycle Trading Company's yt vid and the salesman pointed out the same thing on a rkc with a 21" wheel and same exact bubbling. The salesman didn't say what it was from. Well done video. Many thanks.

Just put a 21” on my 2003 Road King. This video saved me a lot of hassle and disappointment. Worked like a charm. Just have to remember to tilt that fender forward during future maintenance if I take it off.

I'm going to install a 21" wheel on my 09 Road King so your video really helps. I decid3ed to use fender extenders so that I do not have to wallow-out the fender holes with a 3/8" drill bit. Great explanation on how you did the wheel install. I'm going to install Legends front suspension; replace the stock lower forks with chrome lowers, and change out the stock cans with some after market chrome cans. I'll replace the stock wheel spacers with some chrome coned spacers that I orderedfrom chrome willys. Your install helped me determine the steps I must take to perform my install. I have a custom 21" front wheel I want to install on my 2010 road glide. The wheel came off a 05 or 07 street glide. I plan on replacing the bearings. Will I need the special bearings (like the ones Arlen Ness sells that are specifically for the 21" front wheel)? Obviously I need the new bearings to fit my 2010. Also, what size tires do you recommend I go with on the 21x3.5 wheel? I have seen a bunch of 21" tires that have too low of a load rating.

Just drilled out my fender mounting holes 3/8", Tilted it, and put a 21" wheel/tire on my 09 Streetglide. I had a question about fender to tire spacing so I did like Robert said and called HCC customer service. Even though they still have the video on their website customer service (?) said they no longer support that or have any information about doing that swap?? So if you do this you are on your own.

So you take off the fender to drill out the holes on the forks to a larger diameter to give it play and adjustability? Also the only reason I haven’t done it on my streetglide is because I’m afraid if I get a blow out when I’m fat from home that I won’t be able to get a replacement 21 inch tire at a nearby Harley dealership. Good evening sir, I have a 16" FLHTK, I had a Colorado Custom 21" 18" Combo, which did not work very well as the front wheel was out of whack... The micrometer showed variations from 4.040 - 4.069 in various spots on the front wheel and handling was a nightmare.... What are your thoughts on this setup providing maybe another vendor.... I had harley put on a 21” on my Street Glide they used risers and dented my fender when I hit a pothole, very disappointed they did not know about the dent on my obsolete painted fender

+Jeff Martin any touring model (except CVO ) from 2013 and older will take on a 21” wheel just fine. Fender brackets will raise the fender too much and dent the fender like you have seen, CVO models require special brackets.
