Cheating on people may be wrong completely however much like substance abuse it can be stemming from a deeper unresolved problem. That being said, I can't help but feel that he felt lonely in the relationship and it made him have a lapse in judgment and he slept with someone else. Physical intimacy is one of the three main pillars of having a healthy successful relationship. If she was letting him down physically and he seems to be the kind of person that wants to be physical and intimate and demonstrative then they have a bigger problem than trying to set rules for sex. I went through similar with my now ex-husband. He was never very physically demonstrative he was not affectionate and I thought I can handle it at first but once he settled in with being that way I was so lonely... And short of having other people in our bed sexually altogether as some kind of a sick group thing I tried everything I could to make that marriage work before I finally walked away from it. Right now we're still dealing with custody issues for our daughter but I'm still glad that I got out of the marriage. These 2 should not be married.
