YES I AM WATCHING great to see you are getting the grinding paste of ways on the lathe. I will probably never see a Imp engine in life but love the versions they come in and the different mods and tunes . I also watch Grace Engine Developments he grinds crank shafts and knows the importance of the radius on the journals ( he's up in London races to ) Kit from down under

Know a fella who worked at A.VS Liverpool who were derrington and speedwell etc performance specialists on Imps Better known later on as Skip Brown Cars

A simple grand for a brand new engine, for a 50+ year old car. Way cheaper than a 4k rebuild (done properly) of an old 875cc unit A few hrs in the ports with a Black & Decker (if they last that long now) sport cam and a 1 1/2" SU on a elbow adapter. Just to see what it makes. £1.50 says 57 bhp🙂

Hi. I’m not getting good sound at the moment so what is the output of the upright engine at stage 1 please. I would need to make a conversion of late to run my reliant gearbox 😊

Never mind the mess, best mechanic I knew, you couldn't see the bench for old altenators, water pumps etc. His toolbox was an old pie tray. Anyway I bought a short 930 off speedyspares in the early 2000's for £180 so yours will be about £250 ready to go surely?
