I used to live in Bansang some years back when my dad was working in the hospital as a senior physician, that hilly road still remained the same. Just right after the hospital if my memory served me right there is a diversion of 2 way, one goes straight to the town and ferry terminal which goes to Karantaba medical centre 🏥. Besides, there used to be a small satellite village just before Bansang which I believe is called “ Sololo “ or something nearly similar. I had so many good fun memories of Bansang growing up, the river Gambia along the coast of the town is a spectacular view to die for, during the cold season it could get quite cold because of the hilly environment and it’s the complete opposite during summer when temperatures could be boiling 🥵 hot. And the other thing is that, it’s neither too far from Maccarthy island( George-Town), jahally Pacharr nor Basse town. My dad used to take us with him on trek to all these small villages and towns from Bansang to Farafenni to Bassa Santa Su all the way to Koina

That's because I suspect he doesn't know what a hill is.. In my travels in The Gambia I have never seen a hill either. I'm not saying that there aren't, there may well be one or two somewhere, but this, definitely, is not a hill!

loooove your vids, but pleeeeease, try not to move the camera so fast. It makes me dizzy, until I have to stop watching. Gambia is truly nice.

It’s a hill. It’s different from a mountain which is much bigger.

@@son3472 You obviously don't understand. THAT is neither a hill nor or mountain. If you call that a hill then you don't know what a hill is!
