I was so freaked and my heart rate was jacked; it was really fun to edit that mood! I get out of my comfort zone here in this video too but in a different way. Thanks so much, Janice! Being from Canada I'm not used to larger potentially dangerous creatures lurking beneath the waters! 😆 I know a lot of people paddle with gators on iSUPs and this river sees a lot of paddling action despite it being quiet when I went. Although it was a little more creepy to go out solo it was also beautifully still and the sounds and smells were amazing! Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏🏼

I paddle with them in our springs and some of our rivers, but I haven’t braved paddling the Hillsborough on an iSup yet. Major kudos to you. This is my favorite state park in FL so far, the trails are fantastic. I hope you enjoyed the rapids!

It's a beautiful state park. One of the first in Florida! It was super scary, especially being out on the river solo. But I'm so glad I went and got out of my comfort zone 🙌🏼🐊
