The way I understand this song is that when we love God we should love him whole heartedly. We shouldn't be lukewarm Christians nor should we be cold Christians. Once we are for him we should be him only. We shouldn't Bandwagon Christians (Convenient Christians) instead we should be Devoted disciples (Committed Christians). God has given us a decision to make, either we worship God or not. Matthew 6:24 (NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS. FOR YOU WILL HATE ONE AND LOVE THE OTHER; YOU WILL BE DEVOTED TO ONE AND DESPISE THE OTHER. YOU CANNOT SERVE BOTH GOD AND MONEY). The other day I read this verse with my family and all I could think about was this song. Our decision have consequences. Choose wisely!!!! I was molested at the age of 7, I never processed it as a teenager, or even as a young man. My walk with the Lord revealed to me that the moment I chose to never speak of, could very well be responsible for the mentality I developed towards sex, women, perversion, and sexual immoral endeavors, like Pornography. I was always worried what it could mean to my family..he was my Grandmother’s husband, my uncles father, and my mom loved him so much, unconditional love, always so grateful when he offered to help us in any way. Tonight while I listen to praise music trying to chase away the troubles of my day, of my city's day, of the country's day. Peaceful protest in some cities, not so peaceful in others. This country, these people, my people need to have their whole heart healed. On Sunday a picture between a police officer and a very distressed black woman (in the middle of a crowd of protestors) hugged each other like it was the last thing they were going to get to do. I reach out for healing of the communities that are having those issues as new cities appear on the list everyday. I reach out for all people, red, white, brown and black to listen to each other, learn to love and to be patient because Covid-19 has already has stressed everyone and this is so hard to comprehend the vandalism, the destruction, being with the same groups that are protesting peaceful. In Louisville, we have issues that are much closer to home than Minnesota's issue, while our prayers go out to our brothers there. Today because two officers did not follow new body cam instructions, the police chief was fired just 29 days short of his retirement. We need harmony between Police and anyone they come in contact with. Please add Louisville KY to your prayers...and any other cities you have heard are having the same issues. Heal our whole hearts
