I bought this kit, thinking it would be a good replacement for my old ratcheting yellow jacket that got stolen. It's certainly quick to engage, that part of it is excellent, but trying to flare requires way more force than any other tool I've used, I can't turn the handle tight enough to get a flare on 5/8" refrigeration copper, and I've got very strong hands. Perhaps USA copper is super soft compared to Australian pair coil copper or it needs a finer thread or a longer handle arms which of course will get in the way when working in tight spots. I wish I bought the orbital flare instead, this one is plain useless to me
