As we prepare for Lei Day we wanted to share one of the easiest types of Lei to make - the Hilo (Twist) Style, Lei Lāʻī (Ti Leaf).

Thank you so much for mentioning that it’s okay to use the yellow leaves and to take the leaves from the bottom of plant and don’t use a snip for cutting. Your tutorial was very helpful. I am going to get leaves and microwave it to make leis for May Day program coming up on Friday. Mahalo nui loa.
