That is a really good idea. Would be cool if Hilti would release a slightly more economical range/line of tools for general public or “prosumer” use, retaining the 6S 21700 battery configuration but perhaps bringing down the cost by reducing the quality slightly and offering less support (it’s not really needed in the same way outside of Hilti’s main customer base) It could become a real competitor for the big TTI brands and Dewalt, Makita etc.

If you remove the module, does the driver still remember the settings? I suppose that would be risky because you’d have no way of knowing whether a driver was set up correctly or not without the LCD.

If you remove the module, the drill works as a normal drill without any pre-set levels. The torque control settings are in the module.

It doesn't - the SI AT-22 is only compatible with our 4AT-22 and 6AT-22 impact wrenches
