Well, finally they fixed the falling tiles. Take my advise, skip everything and stay in the Ali'i Tower which is a resort within the resort Before sunset, get a Mai Tai , sit back and watch the HOT muscle guys light the tiki torches. They usually wear a loin cloth. Keep in mind that ALL the hotel rooms in Waikiki resorts are a bit "old". Hilton vacationers on the Big Islan have the Hilton Waikola Village will enjoy getting their steps in as the walk from the lobby to the rooms in the round towers is about a mile, literally. They do have a shuttle train however. The walkway is covered and has lots of "Art". As always, skip the food at Hilton and eat in town. Hilton food is expensive and substandard. 🤪
@Cruisingfoodies6 ай бұрын
Yup, Ali'i tower is definitely my preference as well. I think it's great they have so many restaurants, but a nice walk brings you to so many more great eats!

I've stayed at the Hawaiian village before and it's a magical place the beaches are clean and the shopping is Top notch . but some of the rooms are a little date and are in need of sprucing up, and the lagoon was nasty it smelled bad and left a greasy film on your skin . but all in all I would definitely go back
@Cruisingfoodies5 ай бұрын
The lagoon was cleaned out earlier this year and it's nice and clear now with lots of fish. But I agree, some rooms definitely could use a touch up!
