Hilton Hawaiian Village - Is It Worth It?

Aloha, I truly enjoyed your video and having trouble with where to stay when I come for my vacation in March. I have been looking at the hotel that your talking about in your video. I'm working with a tight budget so I I've been shopping around. I'm traveling with my cousin who's a LVN nurse and it's her birthday while we are there we are looking at March 18th-25th. The other thing is that I'm in a wheelchair.

I lived right across the street from this hotel for 14 years during the 90s and I spent so much time at this place. So fun seeing it again...thanks! It's a great destination and a great hotel!😊

After a hurricane flooded the basement of the Army hotel next door, we moved to the 32nd floor of the main Hilton building. Quite the experience with the island's power problems after the hurricane. Every 45 minutes power would be shut off to that part of the island for 15 minutes. We did not want to be in one of those elevators at 45 minutes after any hour.... Just sayin'. Otherwise, we had quite the experience on Oahu that week renting a car and waiting for Navy husband's carrier to come in after the hurricane passed.

Did your cruise leave late in the evening? if so, what did you do between hotel-checkout time and when you check in on the cruise and with your luggage?

It did leave later in the evening. When you are completing your online check in before leaving, you are asked what time you’ll arrive at the port. That time is when you drop off your luggage to have it sent to your room.

Right now it is not worth it, workers have been striking for 3 weeks. Stayed at Hale Koa last week and they were annoying as hell.
