Dinesh bhai, that was a good decision and as you rightly said there is a thin line between being adventurous and fool, I saw some so called Vloggers from Gurhaon whose cars are still stuck on the zanskar side of Shinkula top but they luckily survived. Keep up the good work and take care of yourself.. please carry some safety equipments to counter animals in such places, recently some guy was attacked by wolves on shikula top itself! Guys being a himachali just want to say this "Never take risks especially near passes like Shinkula" They are way scarier and dangerous recently 2 to 3 people died here because they trapped in heavy snow fall and their vehicles got stuck.

Bhai 200% respect badh gayi jab apne return jane ka decision liye.. aisa same hua hai mere sath high pass pe 1-2 meter ke age kuch dikh nahi raha tha because of heavy snow fall at night also because of aux light & I was on a motorcycle... Even I decided to go back, keeping my ego aside..l would say when the mountain let's you go you should go 🙏

Think instead of keeping gearbox on automatic in high altitudes, switch it to manual and always try to maintain 2k+ rpm to prevent dpf clog issue

There are Toyota & Landrover diesel SUV's working all over the world and in extreme subzero weather conditions. Even a diesel Fortuner will do it, no matter the altitude or the temperature. It's that Mahindra problem. They still don't know how to calibrate all the electronics and gadgetry they import and slam into their vehicles. That M-Hawk engine is sweet, nothing wrong with that engine at all. After all it was designed in Austria.

BS6 Diesel Endeavours. Haven't faced any problems regarding DPF or anything been to many higher regions. There isn't even a regeneration cycle for DPF like Toyotas and others.

When you climb up roads, your vehicle needs more power. That means more air, which means O2 for proper combustion which propels your vehicle’s propulsion (power to axles). During snowfall / snowstorm specially at night, your vehicle’s combustion system is denied the same. Best part is that 😂 one knows something is wrong…….😂😂Haha

Hello Dinesh ji… Dinesh ji mere pass ek set snow chains ka hai… but snow chains gaddi ke tyres per kaise lagani chahiye means dono front tyres per ya ek front(Left or Right) tyre per aur ek back tyre( Left or right) per….. jabse snow chains purchase ki hain Main ek baar bhi use nahi kar pata hoon …. May this in winter I’ll use it..
