Himalaya and Karakorum snow mountains are in the west of China but to the east of India, due to the earth turns to eastwards, so the high altitude winds from west to east, bring the moist from melted snow mountains to the east, which in China Xinjiang, therefore makes Xinjiang with lots of more rains to solve the drought problem in Xinjiang but leave India even drier than before
