Niccolò Paganini was an Italian violinist, violist, guitarist, and composer. He was the most celebrated prodigy violinist virtuoso since he was a child, and left his mark as one of the pillars of modern violin technique. His 24 Caprices for Solo Violin Op. 1 are among the best known of his compositions, and have served as an inspiration for many prominent composers.
The International Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists is held annually and takes place at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium. It was first held in 2008 under the name of "Bravo".
In 2015, the competition was renamed in honor of Arthur Grumiaux, and is now called Concours International Grumiaux pour Jeunes Violonistes (International Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists).

Me starting to learn violin at 13 years old: omg I can't wait to start and become good at violin 7 yr old Japanese girl: I'm about to end this whole man's career Edit: For y'all that are still wondering, I wrote this comment when I had just quit violin at 16 cuz I no longer found joy in playing it. But I started teaching myself guitar and ukulele soon after. I still to this day enjoy playing both, and I have almost landed gigs at local cafes and restaurants. 何か、7才と言うテロップを見ただけで震えが来ますねと同時に固まってしまいます。見てる方が固まってどうするんだって言われそうですね。最近ようやく慣れてきて固まらないで見る事が出来る様になりました。でも7才でこのステージですか。何とも言えませんね。ただ驚きだけですね。感動は我を忘れた後から沸々と押し寄せて来ますね最初は感動さえ忘れてますね。やっぱり何回見ても圧倒されます。凄いですね‼️
