Anthony, this is a fantastic video you posted. Highly insightful. You broke the process down like an elementary school teacher. Great work. Do you have any course on filmmaking in your style or editing in your way? Hope am not asking for too much, am just a fan boy.

No matter what I try, I've never been able to get Moon Player on my AVP to play KZbin videos in 3D (or immersive) like you demonstrated in your video. Local DOWNLOADED files play as expected, but streaming KZbin videos do not, even when following the instructions, and trying all the tips and tricks offered in the FAQ and blog posts. I have an extremely fast internet connection, the latest versions of all software OS, and am an IT nerd. Very frustrated

I haven’t used Moon Player for awhile. When I did you could not move forward or backward in a video - you always had to start at the beginning each time. Is that still the case? Thanks for your great video.

These Things Happen G Eazy > all his new stuff. Also, thanks for the heads up, will be trying this out once I pick my VP up!

06:36 The possibility of that happening is near zero. This is a prototype, not a market ready product. It will remain as such for a few years.

Great video, going to pick this up. With media playing, on dark environments, I get smudgy screen and it's really distracting so usually use brighter environments. Do you get this too? Any way to get rid of it?
@himelstech2 ай бұрын
Yes that's a tough problem it's just the physics of trying to show dark/light scenes together on those displays. I'm sure it will get better over time but with the current hardware it's just and issue we have to deal with.

Can I have an answer as to how "realistic" the IMAX setting gets? Does the screen FEEL huge as in real-life IMAX? How much is it likened to BEING in an IMAX theatre and WATCHING an IMAX giant screen (as a percentage)?
@himelstech3 ай бұрын
87.4% - you are not going to get the auditory experience and the overwhelming surroundings as you look at all the people around you, and the smell of popcorn. Otherwise the screen FOV and theater environment is about right.

I don't think VR is able to capture that sense of true scale unfortunately. I think that's why Apple doesn't let you drag the screen 100 ft away and maximize it to like 120 ft wide, it will always look like an 80 inch TV that's 10 ft away

@@Obi3Dwrong, it looks like you're in the theater in Big screen vr
@DamienEarthАй бұрын
@@Obi3Dyou’re not wrong, but I think the capability is there.. especially for Apple since most of us are in the ecosystem.. but I get what you’re saying, I can’t finish a movie in Bigscreen on Meta, heaven forbid it’s some IMAX 3D sh*t .. feels like you’re ruining your eyes..

I’m currently in the process of selling my MSI RTX supreme liquid X 4090-powered gaming PC to afford an Apple Vision Pro. I’m asking a minimum of $2800, with the most I’d hope to get being $3000. I understand that this is likely an unconventional platform to sell something or bring attention to a listing, so I completely understand if my comment is overlooked. I’ve been trying to find a potential buyer by visiting different platforms like Nextdoor, Facebook Marketplace, and eBay. If you or any friends of yours who are interested in owning a gaming PC would like to see more details about the listing, please reply to my comment showing interest. Also, I’d love to provide a great video showcase of the PC if you reply!

Just came to say Kudos to you for spending the money, protect your eyes etc etc.. I literally can’t finish any work in Meta, most unusable productivity headset, but great gaming .. finally saw the clarity in Vision OS and knew I could never do anything other than fly rocket ships and be Batman in Quest .. Quest and Vision Pro shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath, 2 totally different tools.. not disrespecting either, but one is for gaming .. the other is for work.
