At that time Ville was constantly drunk, as he himself later admitted in various interviews. In the beginning he was still great, as for example at the Taubertal Festival in 2003, full of emotions and strong feelings. At this gig he's just drunk . It's painfull to see him like this.

It was heartbreaking as long time fans to see him like this for the first time live. I lost my summer job so I can go to this concert and I still remember the hurt after seeing him like this (at the time it just felt like he didn’t give a shit about us Romanian fans) Luckily Amorphis was outstanding 🎉 I’ve seen Ville many times this Neon Noir tour and I am so pleased to see him healthy and sober, and the performances are simply amazing!❤

What I tried to say was me, as 17 year old at this show, after 6 years of waiting to see HIM live felt that way - I didn’t have the life experience to understand what truly was going on - I could only see a drunk vocalist who seemed to not care about his performance.

It`s not my favourite HIM concert but i love it- and you know why? because it is the only concert they`ve had in Romania and i was there singing, yelling, smiling, being really happy.
