I watched this gig on my VHS till it was in pieces. That's the gig that made the band for me. Perfect mix of sassy rock'n'roll, gloomy pop and just enough raw. They never ever bottled it anymore in that exact way and I have missed it from that day on. For me personally this gig is what HIM was.

I've seen HIM twice in their heyday. The first time was absolutely amazing and a core memory. It was at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver. We had to wait FOREVER for them to come out. I am talking forever. We later found out Linde did too much of substance, we're thinking good 'ol BC bud (it's very potent, google it), fell, hit his face causing some damage and a nose bleed. At the beginning of the concert he still had a towel with him to quell the bleeding. He threw the towel into the audience and my sister caught it. I immediately yelled at her to crumple it up tight so no one could grab it from her. She still has that bloody towel from Linde. Some of the crowd had left by the time they came out but the ones who stayed were diehards and the energy was unreal. Top 10 concert for sure!

Последний свой концерт в Питере и Москве они давали в мои 15-16 лет. Я бы многое отдала, чтобы быть там. Но я сидела в своем долбаном мухосранске и билась в агонии от нищеты и абьюза родителей, и мечтала, хоть одним глазком, хоть минуточку, увидеть вживую этого прекрасного горячего и чувственного мужчину, запомнить его таким в своей памяти. Но у меня не было и шанса выбраться туда. Я очень жалею. Сейчас мне почти 26 и я замужем, далека от своей, так сказать, молодости, и уверена что больше никогда не будет на свете никого ему подобного. Я до сих пор очень люблю Вилле Вало.

In a video interview, Ville recalls the incident and says that a Finnish newspaper wrote an article about it, with "Ville Valo tried to commit suicide" as the headline. В России точно многих свел. Меня в том числе 😅 Но я себя всегда держала в руках 😊 Без лишних фантазий. Дома висел его огромный плакат, и на работе в военном суде тоже из альбома love metаl. Как услышала впервые его голос, реально пропала. Люблю его музыку. Да и сам он конечно красавец был. Жаль мужики рокеры не берегут себя пьют, курят и пробуют запрещенку. Смотрела давно в раннем интервью он говорил, что вроде не хочет жить долго и планировал умереть молодым. Ох уж этот клуб 27 летних. Хорошо, что передумал, ведь у талантливых людей есть ответственность перед зрителями. Была 2 раза на его концерте в 2006 в Москве с Расмус выступали и на Максидроме 12.06. 2013 году с 30 second to mars. В 2006 ему на сцену бросили паспорт и он в нем расписался,😅 потом спустился в толпу и отдал владельцу. Жаль тогда не было качественных телефонов или камер нормально заснять концерты. А на Максидроме с альбом tears on tape. Максимум могли бы тоже заснять концерт, но нет. Остались только отрывки на фотике. Концерты были отличные. Хотелось бы, чтоб Вилле был счастлив, любим и здоров.

Слышали ли Вы группу Король и Шут Михаила Горшенёва? Я к сожалению только в 2023 году услышала песни группы, хотя знала о них давно. У Михаила красивый тембр голоса и очень мощный, и да он тоже курил и пел на концертах, и просто бешеная энергия, при этом очень скромный и добрый человек, да и красавец мужчина. К сожалению уже давно умер. 😢 Я слушала him и Вилле с 2003 г. и слушаю иногда до сих пор. Была всего на 2 концертах, т.к. они редко приезжали в Москву Приезжал в 2003 на Максидром (вообще никакой смотрела по тв), в 2006 с Расмус и 12.06.2013 Максидром. И я пропустила Михаила и Короля и шут. А на сколько их концертов я могла бы сходить. Так жаль. Концерт в клубе Космонавт апрель 2012 г., на Краю февраль 2012, концерт в Зеленом театре парка Горького 2012 г., Нашествие 2013, концерт в Арена Москов 25.12.11 г. Для меня Вилле и Михаил самые лучшие артисты и музыканты. Талантливейшие люди, написавшие потрясающую музыку и крутые вокалисты. В сердце навсегда. Люблю их.

@@JordanC100 Juska is an awesome musician and seems like a good guy (I follow him on Instagram), but Ville said in an interview that there was a 'personality conflict'. I could see a change in the band's interactions with each other when Burton joined. You have to have full camaraderie when you are touring together for months at a time. It would be hard to be in a band that 3 of the guys knew each other since grade school, too. Burton is also a super musician and hilarious (follow him also!). Did you know he is also a chef and was once a ballet dancer?

Ville's girlfriend/wife? has an account -"christelxkarhu" but it's private. She often posts pics of him/them that get picked up by other fan accounts and posted.
