We tried Ramadan fasting challenge for the first time.
When we lived in Malaysia, Ramadan fasting was out of ordinary to us.
But We've heard a lot about Ramadan's meaning and origins from our lovely subscribers😍
And one of my cute Malaysian friends said that if We tried Fasting, She would be the happiest person in the world. Hahaha
Ultimately, We made this video to understand a little bit more about Ramadan and what this means to Muslims.
We broke our fast to Korean market(Let's call it 'Korea bazaar') with delicious foods and ended our day feeling very inspired and grateful.

Fasting in a month actually is good for your stomach because u "give permission" to your stomach to have a good rest in a month after your stomach work hard in 11 month in a year. Fasting also good for your mind so that u can think how poor man suffered when they get hungry every day. That's make u more pious. Muslim fasting in Ramadhan's month is not just hold back from eating and drinking but u cannot say bad words, cannot do bad thing, cannot have sex with your husband/wife in day time, control your mind from thinking bad about other person and much more. It really make u getting pious and be a better person. When u break fast or iftar, then u realised and appreciate your foods and drinka... you feel really enjoy and thankful with your meals. If u were a beginner, surely u will feel hard to take this challange but for us its nothing because we use to it. Somemore we can play football, badminton and other hard activities in Ramadhan's month without spoiled our fasting... its easy for us. Anyway, i really admire both of u because u girls took this fasting challange... fighting...!!!

Hi Monk fighting girls yep pretty easy if you are used to it i don’t even feel hungry or thirsty only if i do a tiring activities that can make me lose energy pretty fast like studying ,going out ,playing sport (lol don’t ever play sport before aftar you are gonna pass out) oh don’t ever when you are at shur or aftar to eat food with too mich salt . Actually ramadan can make thr famlies closer.

We are lucky to have many halal korean restaurants in 🇲🇾. I really love & enjoy eating many korean food ie spicy teobokki, jajjangmyun, sundubu jigae, pajeon, kimbap and many many more! Sometimes i went to this restaurant and take away the food to break the fasting at home! 👍🏻

I also tried fasting for the first time with my Moroccan friend. One mistake I made was eating salty food! Apparently the sodium content makes you thirstier and it doesn’t fill you up. I might do it again

Ramadhan is so special month for muslim people. It so hard for the first time to fasting but if you keep trying, you will easily forget what you want to eat when fasting time. There's alot need to learn not only fasting, but you need to control your anger and whatever you see. Think positive and keep helping the poor people. Fyi, girls who in period they cannot fasting & praying because it's not clean but you need to pay for it depends on conditions. Hope can learn more about Ramadhan for non muslim so they can easily understand about Ramadhan. Good Luck!

If u ever wanted to do fasting again, here's a tip: drink about 2 glasses of water during sahur and after u're done eating, drink another glass gradually, like 3 times. Your quantity of food of Iftar in the video is good amount, because it won't be good eating too much in quantity after fasting. Good job on your challenge! ^^

Indeed, fasting in Ramadan is to make you become more pious and understand poor people feeling, also there are various benefits for the health, which means the practice is good for every human being, not only Muslim. Just an opinion ;) You guys might want to try fasting challenge again and try to break at any Mosque in Korea! Most of the mosques are preparing dishes for those fasting, so you can try to experience breakfasting with many people/races and mix with Muslim from around the globe. The joy when every fasting people to gather and having the meal together for breaking fast is very cheerful, you can feel peaceful, love, goodness and will make you be more respectful towards others. Looking forward for your sharing!

​@@himonk2034 all people including non Muslim is very welcomed during breakfasting at the mosque :) Just might you need some accompany during the visit as it might be a less familiar place to you. As I am not sure the condition at Korea, you can try ask Muslim or contact beforehand the mosque side to guide, or I believe you can just try visit/jump to mosque before Iftar time. Just tell Muslim at the mosque that you are fasting too and want to experience breaking fast at mosque, they will welcome you with big heart :) Just makesure you visit with appropriate clothes(maybe can try wear scarf to cover your head). Faito!

In our case our God/creator/sustainer order us to do it....not only fasting in terms of food and drink but also on sex and anything bad behvour for one month during day time and hopefully after this one month training regime u will become a better person in respect to your Creator as well to mankind as a whole.
