Big fan of the channel but always surprised to see the marketing expense called out. Its coming less of % each Q so why not keep it high if the trend is your friend?

Curious what you think of the current valuation ($20.63 per share)? I sold my position yesterday for about a 15% gain and plan to buy back in sub $20 once the stock settles back down.

You always make a good video on hims with loads of sensible comments and then lowball the numbers to make it look a bad investment. Maybe if it was a sigarette or gambling business those P/E's make sense but otherwise its not going to have a 29 p/e when growing at 25%. Also you said operating margin is 15-25% and then put 10-20% in your estimates 🤦

I just don’t see the moat here tbh, besides maybe the first mover advantage. If one other big player like Amazon stars selling the same kind of products, it’s over for hims. Marketing spend in terms of revenue is insanely high, if this is reduced at some point to grow operating income, overall revenue will also drop along. Good luck to everyone invested though

I always look at insider trading. Why would insiders sell so much stock in the last 12 months? Do they know something that we don’t?

Relative to their entire stock share stake in the company, the selling of CEO, COO and so on is minuscule in the bigger picture. They still own a lot of shares. Adding to that, the latest stock selling from the Executive Branch (CEO...), was arranged in 2023 not this year. Same as usual in stocks, tax reasons and some pocket money. :)

I have no problem with their marketing spend. Acquire the customers before the competition catches up and mimics what you do. When they get to a point where the growth happens more natively it will be more prudent to invest that money somewhere else.

Hims sells the opposite of discretionary treatments, hair loss treatments in particular are the exact opposite of discretionary. I would skip meals if it meant being able to afford a 5AR inhibitor

@@Veketzuu exactly people gotta understand that they have increased the revenue every single quarter their EBITDA is finally positive. They have a positive earnings per share and their net income is positive increasing every quarter as well as their free cash flow. They also started doing $100 million in buybacks. I feel like hims has the potential to grow continually over the next three years.
