Sales force is a tech growth company that is very well managed by Benioff, if you look at Comparably, their employees love working there, and love Benioff. Like all tech companies, SBC is very high. Agreed Slack was paid for at a high price, it absolutely added synergies to their bundle. Other merger they have done have been insanely accretive. Benioff is a superior capital allocater and investor . If you look at their free cash flow it has nearly increased 50% YoY. As Benifoff states there model is cash generation and focuses less on GAAP...... Similar to John Malone at TCI, and Bezos at Amazon

Joseph Carlson had a different take on it, would be interesting to hear you two collab and discuss these types of stocks.
@ccca2035
@ccca2035 Күн бұрын
Joseph Carlson's perspective is influenced by his deep involvement in the software industry, which may lead him to be overly optimistic about the adoption and impact of emerging technologies like AI. While his predictions could hold true in the long run, they might not accurately capture the near-term challenges posed by financial uncertainties and macroeconomic factors. The current struggles faced by enterprise tech companies are more closely tied to broader economic conditions than the direct impact of AI. Many of these companies have leveraged AI narratives to showcase their potential and drive up stock valuations. However, when Wall Street reassesses fundamental factors, it tends to correct for overvalued stocks, especially those deemed as high-flyers. The looming market slowdown, exacerbated by high interest rates, will undoubtedly take a toll on these companies. The key question is when this reckoning will occur, not whether it will happen.

I opened a position in salesforce today. It was trading at a 4% FCF yield even factoring in SBC which is great for a company with these fundamentals. I agree that it’s not dirt cheap but I’ll add if it continues to dip. Margins should expand further over time.

Salesforce needs to grow up. A $200 billion company acting like a $200 million one, celebrating no dilution while just buying back the shares they're issuing. Bunch of jokers.

@@unrivaled Thanks for the video. I held a CRM position for awhile but sold my remaining shares for a small loss before this latest drop. I'd consider buying it again if it drops considerably but otherwise I'll probably just stay on the sidelines with this one for now.

Yeah, I get a kick out of companies that tout their non-gaap metrics, which exclude stock-based-compensation and then also tout how much shares they are buying back.

HIMS made a genius move with this weight-loss drug during this shortage period. As brilliant as the management team is, I am sure they are working on a more permanent solution/product of their own too, so that when the shortage ends, people who went to HIMs for the cheaper alternative will stick around as a member for their own weight-loss product as well as other cross-selling opporturnities. Either way, their next earnings reports (i predict at least 2 quarters) will look explosive, like ones from NVIDIA when they went from 7 billion USD quarter revenue a year ago to like 26 billion USD now. I've been a long-term shareholder of HIMs and am riding this upward wave! Up 150% already. Amazing company to own for the rest of your life.

Does Celsius have some secret recipe that prevents 100 other companies from making the same thing? Is it just the cool name? If so, I can make a cool name right now 😁 If we want to invest in Celsius' execution, I would argue that the better idea might be to invest in Pepsi. If Celsius executes, Pepsi will benefit. But if they don't, Pepsi won't even feel it.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but is very advisable you make use of a professional like I did. If you get the facts about saving and investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.

The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not sure if equities will swiftly recover, keep falling, or fluctuate in a narrow range for a few weeks, or if things will quickly get worse. I'm under pressure to increase my $150k reserve.

Is this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying we are in the bull market and all, but obviously there are strategies to maneuver when there is a bear market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, I'm attempting to create a portfolio for me and my children that will at least be $900k in value.

Great video. At the end of the day, I think the drop in CELH stock is profit taking. Every great stock that has a massive gain over several years, has had instances of 10-30% drops in the stock price. To be a successful investor, you need to figure out which companies are worth sticking with. I think CELH will pay off in the end, but there will be bumps along the way. I don't have enough confidence in CELH to make it a core investment, but I do plan on sticking with the company for the long term. BTW, I walk 5 miles a day with a weighted vest, and IMO theres nothing better than a cold celsius drink when I'm done. If you buy it by the 12 pack from Walmart, its only $1.75 per can.

There’s some wonkiness with inventory and some fingers crossed with shelf space resets. There’s been a few tough Tuesdays lately when the scans data comes out and reduced pricing isn’t endearing. Also near all time highs and there is nervousness about consumer spending. On top of all that there are some conferences going on right now that are always big catalysts. At the PE it’s at; everything needs to be perfect...if the market gets a whiff that growth is slowing it will rerate lower. I was long through earnings via options and closed the position last week when my target was reached. Sat on my hands today because I didn’t want to try to catch a falling knife. When the dust settles I’ll probably look to go long again if fundamentals still make sense.
