Hinata Loses to Ramen & War Has Arrived in Tempest!! | Tensura Explained

In continuation with my breakdown series on That Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime season 3, we’ll be taking a look at episode 7 in today’s video which is titled “Saint and Demon Clash” and it adapts the storyline from chapter 4, Second Confrontation and chapter 5, Saints and Monsters Collide of the volume 7 Light Novel. The episode mainly focuses on showing Hinata’s journey into Tempest along with her reaction to everything and how the other Holy Knights were manipulated by the Seven Celestial Sages into attacking Tempest. As usual, there are some content from the Light Novel that were not adapted into the episode so I’ll be discussing about those and provide insight on certain scenes.

I'm really glad they didn't skip out on Hinata's journey, so much there that is important to completely setting her thoughts on how Rimuru absolutely has to be from Japan and how if he's doing this then he probably is a pretty good guy after all.

Well she is a dangerously smart villain and rimuru needs to kill her so tempest won’t be in danger. That church knight knows too much! And she’s evil! So of course there would be a war. The best course of victory is if one of the sides of war completely annihilates the enemies from the other side Well I think tempest should totally kill all the humans, especially hinata and her army of church knight hooligans in order to win the war and save tempest from the human’s tyranny and cruelty Rimuru should just disintegrate hinata until there is nothing left of her, evil enemies like her don’t deserve to live and should never be spared Heck! Veldora should have joined the fight and killed hinata too!

The yomigaeri and kurenai teamwork and fights against the crusader were well animated. And as you said the yomigaeri took advantage of their regenerate and non stop healing ability of their body then follow up by a either another yomigaeri or a kurenai to put down the crusader

See this is what everyone want since episode 3, they should have cut the meetings and jumped into the world building where Rimuru is basically playing Civilization 6 in real time, where he's going for technological win.

Without at least some of the context from the meetings the civ 6 expansion phase looses most all of its meaning

@IsaacClodfelter yes but they could have wasted less screentime and condense it all onto 3 episodes. Making it 6 episodes long would turn fans off.

definitely a step up from the other epsidoes this season, not quite hitting my hopes and expectations but again, its kinda too early to tell. The hinata vs rimuru fight will likely determine how good this season is, so far it feels weaker then S1 and S2 by a considerable amount.

Ive been a fan for years but man are the meetings fucking annoying already. Slow paced storyline and lack luster fights that look nice but end way too quickly. 8 episodes for a 5 minute fight is crazy
