Some people seem to be disappointed that the colour story isn’t unique. This is no way a unique colour story, these are shades that you naturally find in people’s skin tones and are shades that most makeup artists use. It’s no way a revolutionary colour story, it is a very functional colour story. So if you are after a unique colorful palette, do not buy this! It is also an all matte palette, so it’s won’t be for everyone (including myself, I don’t usually use all matte palettes) BUT what is unique here is the high quality formula and mixability of the shades. If you love all matte natural makeup, this is for you!

I remember when I first got into makeup, I wanted a fairly neutral palette with a bright red eyeshadow. At the time, the only palette I knew of that had a true red eyeshadow was the KVD collab palette that was shaped like a heart. The packaging was weird and I don't like heart-shaped stuff so I never got it. This Hindash palette is everything that I was looking for. Even though I have lots of red eyeshadow now, I WILL get my hands on it just to satisfy the younger me that longed for red eyeshadow and ended up using lipstick on the eyes instead.

I remember when you talked about this in BN, you and Hailey speculated that maybe only pro MUAs would know how to use it. Now here you are saying that the shadow pretty much does all the work for you. It's like the self-driving car of makeup palettes 😂

Love the eye looks and enjoyed the pink-grey look on you even if pink isn’t your thing. It looks so romantic. But agree with you on the replaceable pans, and need to choose your own customizable pallet. I think that’s the future of how makeup should be...less waste. At this stage in my makeup time line, my singles excite me much more than my pre-made palettes do. Which makes sense, I chose each and every one of them. Also there's so many truly special singles available that are just unlike what you can find in palettes.

Omg yes refillable pans would be amazing (and so eco friendly)! I would like to see him create an ombre rainbow palette where you have red to orange, orange to yellow, yellow to green, and so on, along with a black and white to make the shades darker and lighter. The new Monochromance just isn't quite what I would want.

I know we are months further along the line now, but Hindash has just confirmed that the colours of palette nr 2 are finalized and that he is working on one with shimmers. I have seen tutorials that made a mauve colour from the grey combined with the pink…. looked amazing!

He did say not to swatch them or use the same brush on an unset face because the oils will ruin the pigments or ruin the gradient affect . I thought it was odd as that's what most people will do. It is a beautiful palette. When I saw his video I was really excited about it. I don't get excited about eye shadow but this one is different. ✨

Oils can seal up shadows and powders. I personally wouldn’t apply them over an unset base, powder over tacky cream just makes me cringe haha.

I find this very interesting... more so with each review I see of it. I'm still not sure I'd reach for it enough to justify the price but I'm very curious to see what he does next. The second look was beautiful though... understated yet and classy elegant look 💓 100% agree on the customisable option, I don't do pink either but I think if I could swap that for a mauve to purple or burgundy type shade it would push me over the line to buying it.

I wasn’t too hot on it when it first released, but I’m impressed at how good the formula is. I don’t know if I’ll ever buy it just because it’s a bit too unconventionally shaped for my tastes, but I’m excited to see what he releases in the future.

I would loveeeeee to buy these as individual pans!!!! I am completely sold on the brown/grey and brown/black pans, I just don’t think I’d get enough use out of the others (particularly the red and pink pans) to justify the $90.

If you’re a fan of Hindash and you know his style, then you’ll totally understand this palette. He is so talented and I love his makeup style. This palette intimidates me a bit because I’m not a makeup artist, just an enthusiast. I’m not sure if I have the skill to maximize this. Edit: I know you didn’t ask, but I’ve suffered with dermatitis on my eye lids forever. Whenever it flares I use a soap called occusoft eyelid scrub followed by a hyperchloric acid spray. Then at night I apply the La Rosche Posay Baume. It works to clear it up.

I absolutely love every look you did-especially the pink and gray! Formula is everything with matte shadows and this palette’s price seems fair compared to other high end brands like Viseart. I don’t need it, but damn, I do really want it after your review.

This palette remained a mystery to me even after watching a few different videos but not any more. You stripped it right back for us novices.. Although I'm a retired beauty therapist, makeup was only a small part of our training, so I really appreciate all the hard work and research you put into each and every video consistently, which I know at times can't be easy. That you can blend colours to make custom colours is fascinating. The grey made me wonder about the grey, Mercury,, in the ABH Subculture palette, had I been using that wrong, was I supposed to have used it to blend and make lovely taupes? No, Mercury doesn’t blend or layer at all. It has inspired to go play with other formulas I own and see if I can layer abs customise with them.

Beautiful. The only shade that’s a bit meh is the banana yellow. It’s very pale and not like the marketing images. The rest are really nice.

Fascinating review, when i first saw this palette i didn't think it was interesting, but you have changed my mind. In reality if it was a 12 pan palette it wouldn't be hugely different in the colours created once they are on the eyes, because you create the gradient when you pick up a bit from each shade and blend. Your fringe is very stylish!

I’ve been super excited about this palette since I saw it on beauty news! I am very pale and these lightest browbone eyeshadows in palettes are usually too dark for me so I had to mix them with white. I struggle to find cool toned contour powder also, so it doesn’t look orange on me. I love fenty cream bronzer in amber, but I haven’t found a nice cool toned (but not pinky!) powder bronzer so this might be a holy grail for me. I wish it was more affordable, since the currency conversion makes it very expensive (I get it that it is multipurpose and you have many products in one but still its a big expense at once)

Maybe random but as a fellow very pale lady, I really love the single eyeshadow Tako from Sugarpill. It's a very pigmented white and I use it all the time as a blending shade or on my browbone.

Great review. I use a matte palette I have to help other palettes out that I own. I'm not looking to replace it right now, but this is something I'd consider getting in the future. My current matte palette has some significant dips in it, so I definitely use matte palettes.

I love the looks you created and the formula looks lovely. I prefer softer pigment shadows that you can build, and the fact it's a fine powder would be great for my older skin. However, I'm totally intimidated by this palette. I get that makeup artists would understand how to use it, but I also think that as you're an artist you understand colour and mixing way more than someone who doesn't have that skillset. I can cope with a good pre-set colour story in a small palette, and understand shade and contouring eye shape, but this palette would be beyond me. I hope he does a standard palette with that formula for those of us who aren't so artistically capable. ☹

This palette looks like a more innovative (and basically better) version of the LH Cosmetics Infinity Palettes, except for the fact it's all matte! I honestly prefer this though because it's nicer to have one palette with mattes for everyone and one palette with shimmers for everyone.

I am seriously impressed by this. I love blending whole matte looks. I'm trying to use up a bit more of my project pan pallets but I could see this replacing at least two from my collection. This palette seems absolutely awesome to me. However, when it all comes down to it - I really don’t wear bubblegum pink, scarlet red, concrete grey, pure white or any yellows..... I know they’re for mixing, but still. The actual color story isn’t for me. I hope he does a second one with the same concept but a different color story! Although that may take a long time to formulate, I know.
