How easily is he saying what is the problem - The crux of the issue is 1. Allegatikns of Shell companies manipulating stock prices to squeeze the open float shares and increase price 2. This 7-8 times increased share value is pledged to obtain massive loans. If the debt is serviceable, you want find an issue, but the banks sits exposed with billions of virtually unsecured loans. For even a basic necessity like housing, you are forced to put 20% down and here if allegations are true, banks sits with lakhs of crores worthless paper. Just for everybody to understand, the valuation of company is also calculated as this many times the multiples of current profit or potential profits in future .... Just to understand, Adani green stock went from Rs 25 in 2019 to Rs 2500 in 2022, an increase of 100 times for a company with no breakthrough in technology innovation invented so far... The PE ratio was higher than 1400....compare that to PE ratio of 10to 15 for NTPC, 52 for Tesla, 25 for Google etc... This is why stock is getting correction now as the price is not sustainable. Tesla which is a game changer in its entire history had a P/E ratio of 473 only.

So I would like to point out that Adani green shares have the lowest pledging and their Adani ports being the fundamentally strongest company has the most pledged share at this date. Everything is well managed, obviously this upmove had to stop somewhere and prices has to correct which is sort of how stock market works. So this hindenberg news is just used as a pivot cuz most points told in that report were already told by many Influential people like Sucheta Dalal as well when price corrected back in 2021 maybe, and also many people already know thay are over leveraged but the group is mostly in growing businesses and obviously will get many projects from Govt. side. This fall comes with a news so that weak hands who boarded gets offloaded, also new investors who wanted the dip, now won't dare to enter. And as per the shell companies, those can never be proved in the court of law, as per my knowledge in the capital market.. As you can see there were many allegations like diamond trading scam on Samir Vora which were dismissed in the court of law, so it's impossible to prove about whether who is controlling the shell companies. Even if it's adani, it's not possible to prove that.

I pointed out Adani green for over inflated valuation which is the highest in human history for a company with no invention or miracle to boast about. Its a vicious cycle that no outsider can clearly understand how much is cross pledged, pledged as abundance of caution or as secondary shares which can be submitted as margin call etc... Also today if pledging is less, that doesnt guarantee that it will not be pledged tomorrow. This would have started long back even on other shares, but once debt servicing is proper and the finished assets starts providing returns, yesterdays fraud gets legitimised. The Adonigreen could have used the valuation to raise loan and take over really innovative global green energy companies. My point is Thinkschool is doing nothing to point to a retail investor, if the stock value is worth it. I too believe none of these allegations can be proved, but it will defenitely cause a correction in the share value which will force Adani on execution rather than monopolising India. I truly believe competition is good for all instead of monopolies, tat too these type, built allegedly only on cheap debt with only paper value as equity.

Cuz he already showed the ratios like liabilities to asset etc. Adani green is worst at this time with no such growth, but I think with time many projects of railways like 90% Indian platforms if made green like solar panels to supply the electricity then Adani can get most of that business and there can be many such projects and Adani Green can come up with awesome results. obviously it's perception at this moment, that where Investors bets and share prices are always based on future projected fundamentals. And markets are very mature nowadays. Already the share prices corrected massively after this Hinderberg news, cuz market needs some news to correct.

Being a chartered accountant I can confirm that such a tiny firm with only 4 partners who are of such young age are not capacable of auditing such a big corporate. The big 4 or at least the big 10 should be auditing the adani group I'm surprised as to how they are able to pull the task of auditing such a mammoth company. Besides I want you to think about these points 1. The auditing firm must have it's 90% of revenue from adani Enterprise so they (adani group ) can control the firms opinion 2. With such limited amount of resources how can they even cover all the aspects or even material aspects of financial information

Your favorable and praiseworthy choice of words for Adani group (this and past videos) only shows nothing but favorable opinion of the company. 2. The reply to all the allegations by Adani group is flimsy and does not stand any ground just by saying "we have made disclosures to the regulators" and "all information is in public domain". All the researchers (including KZbinrs like you) do "RE"search. Which means compiling all non-material public information and giving an opinion. Which Hindenburg has done (except the revelations of holding companies based in Mauritius which is a big Red flag in itself). 3. No CFO will step down by holding a placard saying "Shady things are being carried out in this company that's why I resigned" 4. And why should the investors wait for the regulatory bodies and courts to decide wether anything is shady or not. Especially when allegations are made against an oligarch (read it's definition). Clearly, Indian institutions were undermined because of this corporate political nexus. and we should wait for these institutions to give clean chit to a billionaire closest to one on the most powerful leader in the world? 5. At the point the report came out, I was perplexed why people are panicky over past practices, where in fact I saw the risks were going down steadily. Debt, pledged shares. Plus a large diverse group with so many entities can take better case of each other, for growth/to cushion loss blows. It's really surprising how quickly our people lost faith, we don't believe in our own. Amazing explanation. How you described both perspectives. It is very clear that they do use shell companies that are holding their shares to manipulate stocks and work around regulations. This also benefits the said firm if it is proven practically competent (mere qualification isn't enough. It's like saying a newly qualified engineer can craft a rocket with very little experience) 2. @@alphazero0 I was talking about how Ganesh broke down short selling and pledging of shares for the layman audience. And about the auditors being 24 and 28, a first attempt qualified CA is 21 and I think by the age of 28, you're old enough for the job. But at 23-24, I don't think so.

@@alphazero0 Bro Its not a question about their age Its more about their experience The auditor who signed AEL financials has done articleship and post articleship training in tax and litigation And later, in less than 1-2 yrs, started signing the financials of a company with ₹70,000 cr turnover. This is obviously a biiiiig red flag Moreover, AEL has over 100 subsidiaries and its really really hard to even get a grip on the operations, let alone certifying their financials so easily The video has conveniently ignored these red flags

@@niharikabhat4529 The fact that their auditors are very young and inexperienced is not something that is already disclosed by AEL Its available in public domain itself But, the auditors are appointed by majority shareholders And in AEL, more than 75% is held by promoter group directly So, they can easily approve whomever they want as auditor 😂 Rest of the shareholders can't do anything as they are in very small numbers Rather negligible in this case 😅

Adani has made a brilliant cycle of flowing funds from one place to another, he knows he is running a very risky cycle but has made a very huge growth empire out of it for himself as well as for India. So he will continue to ride this cycle. The only difference is all other big companies don't plan to ride this risky cycle at all.

If you scroll through the comments, one thing becomes clear: 98% of the posts are simply praising the channel and are absolutely neutral about the whole ordeal. Not a single comment discussing the details of the allegations. It's highly suspicious that in a social media channel, where normally people express their "opinions" all the time, there is a conspicuous absence of those natural sentiments. More info needed on shelf company adani just skipped it by saying in public domain anybody can buy shares we can't control it. But when you see hindungurg report you will see names of adani family members listed as owners/director of shelf company who have 0 employees and are investing million in only adani companies. although adani may not done all wrong as mentioned in report but certainly there are important issues HR highlighted we should not ignore it. SEBI need to investigate this. Certainly if Adani group get caught they should be delisted from stock market. Although India need development but we certainly don't need another Evergrande China crisis here.

First off, I'd like to say how greatly improved the Think School post have become. They started out really good, and now are really of the highest quality. Keep on keeping on! To the content of this video: On the one side, everyone hates short sellers. To say "I want to make money off someone's failures" does not sit right with most people, especially non-investors. The Hinenberg group went way overboard with too many bullet points. The only real issue, IMHumbleO is the offshore holding companies. If it turns out that they were a way for the family to get around SEBI rules, then they are in big trouble for sure. Most of the other allegations are pretty weak, but that one needs to be investigated.

This was a good video. Seemed to me like an objective portrayal of some of the salient details as they are, without shaping them to fit a narrative. Very good, very informative for someone like me not connected to this domain directly. Thank you! And my personal comment is: Hindenberg's incentive for misreporting may be clear given its occupation as a short-selling profiteer, but some of Adani's responses cited in the video (e.g. about the young accountants) reminded me of this concept from AI Safety called "specification gaming". Certainly, a thorough investigation is warranted.

That would be a different video .. About stakeholders & lenders of adani. Not the scope of this video, where the onus was on putting upfront clarity about what Hindenburg report alleged & what adani replied. Until now, the basic issue itself was never put up in clear detail. Everyone was going haywire all over the place. The judgemental part of the video first needs investigation .. Which can be done only if the relevant bodies deem it fit to be conducted, & rightly so. The bodies will first have an internal assessment of criteria & if all internal criteria are seen to be met, then investigation not necessary.

Thinkschool is just reiterating Adanis reply to common man with his superior communication skills. How easily is he saying what is the problem without touching the real issue of super inflated prices unheard of in the entire world- The issue is 1. Shell companies manipulating stock prices to squeeze the open float shares and increase price 2. This 7-8 times increased share value is pledged to obtain massive loans. If the debt is serviceable, you want find an issue, but the banks sits exposed with billions of virtually unsecured loans. For even a basic necessity like housing, you are forced to put 20% down and here if allegations are true, banks sits with lakhs of crores worthless paper. Just for everybody to understand, the valuation of company is also calculated as this many times the multiples of current profit or potential profits in future .... Just to understand, Adani green stock went from Rs 25 in 2019 to Rs 2500 in 2022, an increase of 100 times for a company with no breakthrough in technology innovation invented so far... The PE ratio was higher than 1400....compare that to PE ratio of 10to 15 for NTPC, 52 for Tesla, 25 for Google etc... This is why stock is getting correction now as the price is not sustainable. Tesla which is a game changer in its entire history had a P/E ratio of 473 only.
