Female we have to take out immediately after laying eggs. Or else male will kill the female or female will eat all the eggs. We can remove the male after the baby fish fries started swimming well and taking food. Say we can remove male betta fish after 5 to 7 days of hatching. But leaving the male with fry for at least 15 days will be a better idea.

Very sad to hear. Now that bubble nest must be having some fertile eggs if everything went well. Don't disturb anything. If luck works then you may have some fries in 1 or 2 days. But they have to survive without dad's care. Better luck brother
