Nice informative video. One question. Is it possible to buy the Navigo Easy Card directly from the machine? From your video it seems possible. But the official website does not mention that. They say it can be bought from the service counter and loaded from the machine. Could you please clarify.

Navigo easy card can be purchased from most of the machines and at service counter as well, in video we have shown step by step process to buy navigo easy card from the machine.. Fyi- some machines may not give option to buy the card, but i heard they are slowly enabling this option in all machines.

You can not buy Navigo Easy card from app, you have to purchase either from metro station ticket window or from ticket machine, you can buy card and load the ticket at same time. Alternatively you can use your mobile phone as Navigo card (if it supports) , and purchase tickets from app . Just note that there is no 24hr ticket, it's 1 calendar day ticket.

Generally it is very safe to roam in paris.. Only in very crowded places pickpocketing can happen.. So you have to be extra careful there.. And since we live in Paris, we normally don't carry passport with us while roaming in city.. But if you are traveling intercity or to some other country then it is recommended to carry passport.. I don't understand the weekly pass cost. First you told 30 euro and then 5 euro. So how much I need to pay exactly. My query is we are couples and we will be in paris 03 Oct to 08 Oct . Weekly pass (30 euro) can only be loaded in a Navigo Decuvert card (5 euros) If you already have a card, then you just need to load the weekly pass of 30 euros. If you don't have it, then you pay 5 euros for card and 30 euros for weekly pass. Dont forget to paste your photo and write name on the card after purchasing it.

Too much informative A query if u can help If I want to use public transport from airport to apartment in line 13 and then also visit Eiffel tower and 2nd day Disney land and 3rd day all other Paris sight seen through metro should I buy weekly pass? I also checked some where that weekly pass strata from Friday and end on Thursday. If I am arriving on Tuesday and leave Paris on Friday, that means my weekly pass will work only from Tuesday to Thursday and for Friday for return journey to airport I need to again purchase tickets ??

1. Validity ends once you exit Metro station. 2. There is no metro to Versailles palace, you will probably take RER c train from somewhere in Paris. Versailles palace is in Zone 4 so normal metro ticket (t+) will not work, you will have to purchase point to point tickets for Versailles, which will cost around 4 euros one way. This point to point ticket will be valid from anywhere in Paris to RER C station by Metro and then RER C station to Versailles by train.
