'Independence is the root of all sin..not being dependent on God...Abiding in Christ is the issue..The language of dependency is adoration..our souls receptivity will open to God...entry point: coming to Jesus' 'Every failure is first a failure to lean on Him': wow, that really got me!

And is there such a thing like too much dependency? and if there is what is important to keep in mind? (This happened to me: while I was at the beginning of learning to hear His voice and really wanted to just do whatever He would like me to do, but I didnt hear anything specific thing to do in a specific situation that really required an act but I did not step out because of being afriad of doing something without God, and have too much of my own control in my hand in this situation, but at the result finally lost my fiance, the relationship God gave me. I went through really painful years because of this not understanding how this was supposed to be and how this could happen, and still dont see totally clear in this area, but I would like to. I did meet God s love for me during these hard times, and it worths more to me, but the loss is still painful, just that the enemy could stole something that was heaven birthed in my life.) When you are in a situation that requires an act and if you dont hear anything specific from God what do you do? Or you always hear from Him about everything?

Concerning your last two questions. If you're in the place where you don't know what to do or what action to take, I believe it's good to slow down and examine your desires and the situation from a place of total surrender to God. You can also start a conversation with God, be as honest as possible with Him, and listen to where He's directing your heart. If you were trusting God and your fiance had to go, then may be it wasn't the enemy stealing him from you. May be he just had to go, even if it hurts..

Jesus said when we pray to pray in this way....Matthew 6:-13 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. God's WILL be done...that means that when we pray we are to pray that his will be done. It may not have been in his will for you to have your fiance. Even though it seemed right to you, it may not have been in gods plan for your life. Always remember Satan has a plan for your life...but so does god..and gods plan is WAY better. He may have someone else in mind for you, or a completely different path for you. Part of excepting christ as your savior, and repenting of your sins is to then follow him and put him first above all else. Just relax in his peace and trust him to lead you where you need to go. you may not always "hear" something. Sometimes we get so dependent on "hearing" or having an "experience" and if we aren't having those things happening on a regular basis we start to think something is wrong. At times we will have what "feels" like quiet times with him, but rest assured he IS still there. There is a time where he wants us to just rest in him and trust and keep going, even if we aren't "feeling" like we are receiving anything from him. It helps to mature you in christ. Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. It helps us to learn patience and to trust him no matter whats going on around us. "feelings" are fleeting. They come and go and change from day to day. God does NOT change. He is steadfast! When everything around us feels like rushing water and turmoil he is holding you up, keeping you from washing away under the rushing current. He WILL NOT leave you or forget you or your situation. He knows what is going on and you just need to keep on pressing on, following his commandments, praying, worshipping and going about your day to day with him in tow and he WILL work things out in your life. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Read the book of JOB. God allowed him to loose everything! I mean EVERYTHING! ...but through it all JOB kept his faith in God and he blessed him beyond belief afterwards!

One hindrance to experiencing God is following mystical teachings that Eric Gilmour follows. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2: 18-23 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow. Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

+Joe Lever Eric is talking about dependency and adoration for JESUS. How is that in any way related to your stance on using Col 2:6-8 instead of actually reinforcing what he is speaking on.. "which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ". Human traditions and spiritual forces of the world will keep you away from loving Jesus because it takes away your NEED for Him and him alone. Eric is literally encouraging others to adore and depend on Jesus Christ... Eric is part of the body of Christ just as much are you are my friend and if you would open your heart to receive the revelation Eric Gilmour has about being a son of God that enjoys Jesus; I truly feel it will open your eyes to see things through the lens of Jesus. Jesus loves the bride and Eric is a member of that body that you are speaking towards! Much love.

It takes faith to sense His presence! It will take you to heights and depths of His love that can only be expressed as you experience His Precious presence. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever...He ever lives and so deeply desires to have an intimate relationship with His friends...faith produces this and you cannot get there without it.
