Hindsight Bias After Being Scammed

It is a lot easier to see that a scam was happening when you are looking back on it, and some people beat themselves up over what they "should have known." If you were scammed, don't let this bias contribute to you feeling dumb, because you aren't!

Yes Cathy......He created a situation for me to fall into and talked about love to get me off my guards, and on top of that, because I was already in love with him, whenever I doubted him, he could always explained to me angrily that he was real, and I was convinced every time....I regret this so badly. I should have trusted my doubt.......But Cathy....how could I imagie that there is scammer can be this wicked that spent 10 months to talk to me day and night and invovled my life fully?? This is not my fault right??

Nope - not your fault. This was a crime and you know, it is hard for me to imagine people being this wicked as well. Just in this comment you showed some manipulation tactics he used: getting angry to get you to back down, creating a situation that got you off your guard. I am sure there were many more! You aren't going to feel this way forever.
