I think it should be reverse for Vaishnavism and Shaivism Shaivism is largest denomination of Hinduism for sure between 40-60% Hindus. Tamils, Malayalis, Kannadas, Telugus, Southeast asian, Northwestern, Kashmiri, Pahari and even UP Maharashtra Hindus are mostly Shaivate. Vaishnavism is mostly observed by Eastern UP and Mathura people, Some Maharashtrians, Gujaratis, some Bengalis and some people from other regions
