Sir, I have one question regarding the right of Hindu widow lady under Hindu succession act-1956. In one Hindu family, Suppose his name is "A" . A (A is died) have two kids 1. One Son his Name is "B" & 2. One Daughter her Name is "C". B got married with "D" in the year 1945 and he died in 1948 but not have any heir/Kids. "D" (Widow Lady) sold ancestral properties in 1951 and "D" also died in 1955 I.e. before Hindu succession Act-1956 implemented. Hence the question is , Is properties sold by " D" (Widow lady) is Valid?? Thank you and looking forward your valuable advice on this regards.

One query, if my father expired and he had self owned property on his name. His legal heirs are grandmother, mother, son My grandmother expired after 1 year after his son so legal heirs left now son and mom. Now question is as partition has not been done yet as property is still on my father name . Can grandmother make an will in his lifetime or not ?
