What a wonderful man explaining this subject so well. Thank you. I have followed the Sanatana for 6 years but reincarnation is still difficult for me. This video helps.

Hello Mr. Lakhani. I am new here. I have heard you here and there, but nothing serious as I was exploring my way. Now, I am in much better position to understand what I was exploring. I like to inform you that I have researched myself a vast amount of information, but you are the only one I came across, who have put most of the aspects of karma/dharma/religion/spirituality, and meditation/reincarnation/God/nature together. Most of it I had figured it out, but still it was fragmented and not concisely put together. I just want to say thank you for helping me validate my exploration, thinking and journey of spirituality. I am an Engineer, Microbiologist and scientist by profession. I am also Gujarati and I do meditation/yoga in which I have had some success in last couple of years. I see myself as a beginner and I have long way to go. Couple of personal questions for you and I will be happy if you satisfy my curiosity. 1. Why, many views but very few comments? 2. Have you had any personal experiences in meditation and if so do you ever talk about it anywhere? 3. Do you have any book written about this? Thank you.

I can make sense of 'karma' perhaps only or especially regarding humanity versus Earth: If we destroy our planet, we'll certainly suffer and cease to exist. Apart from that, it is difficult not to fall into the trap passive acceptance.

Respected sir, I like where you are coming from however, Stevenson research is not purely scientific and the research he has done is criticised for many good reasons. Past life regression therapy is emerging now however, it is not ethical and widely unacceptable. I have no intention to offend you or anyone who believes in reincarnation however, it would be good if you really analyse the research by Stevenson. Thank you.

Fantastically informative and thought provoking, thank you. Maybe though Hinduism and Christianity have more in comon than we would believe. Read John’s Gospel and count the times Jesus tells his disciples that he is in the Father and that we are in him and that he is in us: so Christians also see themselves when they look into the eyes of others, or at least the spirit that we all have in common. I wonder if you took the great beliefs of the world and placed them as circles in some cosmic Venn Diagram, whether what we found in the section where all overlapped really would be - in Mr Lakhani’s words - the jackpot! Thank you again.

Question.: What aspect of ourselves survives death and carries our karmic debt with us, transferring it into another embodied incarnation? If we are not the mind, not the personality, if we are the pure spirit/prusha/atman, what ever term one prefers, does that essential nature which animates our bodies take on karmic imprints from previous incarnations or does it remain pure and unaffected? If it remains pure and impersonal, and we are not the mind, which is Prakritic, then what aspect of ourselves incarnates? Thanks in advance.

Body is a projection of the soul. The soul is nirguna, does not reincarnate cause it never leaves. It is our desire that incarnates, attracts and possesses the physical. There are different aspects of the body. Our astral/emotional body is our “karmic” body, projected by our ethereal/mental body. When we die we lose 1st the physical, then astral, then ethereal, and we are in the bliss body. We materialize due to dharma, we have a purpose to perform. Once that purpose goes, our dense lower 3 bodies go. The soul always remains cause all is soul and is not bound by prakriti

Mr. Lakhani has an interesting perspective and I genuinely mean that, but he mentions LGBT people and describes them as "having reincarnated into the wrong body", if I'm understanding correctly. He describes the operations trans people go through as "horrendous", and I have to wonder what he proposes people like us do to address the issue of having reincarnated into the wrong body. I haven't finished the video yet, so this may be presumptuous, but his use of the word "horrendous" as well as acknowledging the legitimacy of our experience is confusing. It's possible it's a language barrier thing? A lot of the stuff we have to do to be able to live normal lives is drastic, and maybe it's possible that's what he met. If anyone else has thoughts, I'd love to hear.

The belief of hinduism that we are all connected in spirit, or we are of the same spirit is deeply rooted in the Bible. God said in the Bible that he gave life to a clay by his own spirit. He breathed in the spirit in to man. Hinduism doesn't know this, they just know that we are connected. When God breathes his spirit to humans, for sure we must be connected to each other because it was the spirit of God alone. And when we get populated day by say we all receive the spirit of God. That is the basic, knowing just what is going on is not enough, we have to also know how...

Well Jay, I suppose all you are saying about reincarnation is not about life after death or the previous life before etc etc but merely about the circadian events, we born every day we die every night and we born again whit our karmic debits or rewards from the day before, but in terms of feelings. Moreover, science explained reincarnation? We don't need any explanation from science is inadequate to explain life, whit is myopic microscope can't get anything yet about it

because there aren’t finite number of souls. Although a lot of people reincarnate, some of them are born for the first time. Also idk if this is accurate or not but i think some animals, after they die, reincarnate into a human life so that could explain why there’s population increase.

Sir some contradictions need clarification. If the universe is the manifestation of ultimate reality, if the God reveals himself in human form as avatars for the love of humanity why can't we accept personalised aspects of God are the representation of various aspirations of our life manifested himself to reveal his presence to enable us to develop a relationship to give a meaning to our life. As human why can't we consider ourselves as waves in the ocean rather than ocean itself. Ultimately we may become one with the ocean or become part of it(not in the physical sense)which is of course a controversial issue in Hindu philosophy.

People worship anyone with super powers as their gods. But the devils, jinns, human beings etc are not gods.Only one God can create the sun, moon, earth and all.All other gods are too weak to be gods as they can't even create a small house fly or an atom.Where is the proof, other than blindly obey all holy books which have been revised periodically? What if your religion is false and you can't come back after death to correct your mistakes? Only the invisible one God can overpower invisible beings that are worshipped by some people.Just play the recitation of Quran from KZbin in any religious events etc and watch the reactions of so called gods.

Sir why are you talking about past scholars, google.....seriously instead of scriptures, can you provide Hindu scriptures for what are you saying about why not you remember past lives, where in scriptures it's mentioned the sharpness in mathematics, phobia etc comes from past birth, also which scriptures support gay based on past lives?? I sound all his videos just theoretical manmade, views of past scholars rather than from Hindu scriptures, just because there exist no supporting scriptures to explain what he is saying. My brethren pls don't follow anything blindly that is not scriptural. Stay blessed always.

Christian you mentioned believe in reincarnation may exist however, that does not mean that is everyone believes about reincarnation in Christianity. We believe what is revealed in the Bible and the scripture in it are our sole authority to judge all philosophies of the world and live our life according to it. A true believers who lives according to what the scripture has to say does not believe in reincarnation but hell and heaven. I don't say that all Christians are true Christians. Now, some of my friends will say that Bible says about reincarnation by taking the example of Elijah and John the Baptist however, please a request for all who quote that. Do not interpret Bible to fit in your views also interpretation of Bible is not done to what we feel like with it. It's God's Word not ours. Let God be true and every man liar. If you read it in context you will understand. Also, you must understand that even Satan quoted Scripture during the temptation of Jesus but for it's purpose. Unless God give you wisdom you can't see the beauty of His word. We are dead in our sinful state and only Jesus is the Lord and Saviour who can save all the humanity from the wrath of a Holy, righteous and Just God because the Bible says we all have sinned and fell short of glory of God . With our self efforts like doing good deeds can't make us good people. In simple terms we can't earn our salvation by our good works because it's not possible because of sin. Those who believes in Jesus will live eternally with Him in heaven and those who does not believe in the saviour who came to be crucified on cross for our sins will be separated from Him and eternally be in hell where there will be gnashing of teeth. This life is the only decision we make to spend out eternity. That's why we don't believe in reincarnation. Thank you.

That's the difference between spirituality and religion . And what the hell is memory of past life ? Memory destroys when we die and we and our memory are not distinct things. Dear friend every single cell in your body has a memory and its not just the memory of this life but the previous lives as well. Have you ever looked at your face and thought Why is this nose exactly like my grandfather or why is my smile like some other elder in the family. We believe in deductive science that once you are dead all the memory is gone but inductive science goes beyond and it can justify things that you are making fun off.
