So, here it is, the final Acrobattles epsiode. What a fun ride it was (and what a pity that episode 8 got lost...). And I wanna take the opportunity to say a deep and sincere thank you to you, Jake, and the rest of your trampwall mates. Of course, I knew tramp in general before, but trampwall was completely new to me and I accidentally stumbled upon JunkTramp on Tiktok some time this spring (thank God for the algorithm ;) ). Since then I was so fascinated by this sport, that I literally devoured each and every bit of content from your group of trampwallers on any platform, whether TikTok, Insta, YT, or else, that I could find. Maybe most fascinating were the OffAxis podcasts from Tanner, in which you gave really deep insights into your personal situations and your sport. Please visit him sometime soon again ;) (FYI: I definitely agree with JR that having the upper perspective for Trampwall ist the right way to go to make trampwall popular in the future, tho I disagree that you should take the fake stories approach à la wrestling to spice box games, since I think they work on their own perfectly as they are). Anyway, you definitely sparked in me the interest to one day try trampwall by myself. However, I'm located in Germany (so definitely no possibility to visit you directly), plus I'm a rather old fart with 33 years and became father recently, so I think having some spare time for this will be out of question for some time. One day, nonethelss, I will make it happen, escpecially as tramp halls became so popular also here in Germany. Btw., should anyone of you ever have a gig here in Germany or Austria or so (unfortunately, I suppose that's unrealistic as long as Corona rages...), I would love, love, love to here from you, so that I could try to see you in person. I nearly cried when I learned that Mo was in Germany/Austria some time ago and I wasn't of trampwall back then... So, that are my two cents, which I wanted you to know. Please greet the core group of Garrett, Luke, Dillon, Marley, Mo, and all the other people who came along the ride like Julian, Kirk, Paul, Amanda, Sarah, Emma or the newcomers like Diestel and Anthony. Thank you so much for this kind and thoughtful comment. We really appreciate the support and even watching podcasts we’ve been on just really means a lot. We’re new to this whole thing still and constantly learning and trying to make entertaining content and make a living off it and still train and have fun and be ourselves and comments like this really make us feel like we’re doing ok and it’s all working out. I’ve been to Germany a few times now and one of my closest friends is from there. I’ll definitely have to reach out the next time I’m there!

Awesome comment! But don't let age put you off trying new stuff. 33 is not old. I'm 41, have 3 kids, started Trampwall last year, and I've never found anything as fun or exhilarating. If you can find a wall somewhere close to where you are, do it. I'm still very much beginner stage (my most advanced tricks are a basic back pullover back to the ledge, and doing some corner transfers and twists off the wall), and I only get to do an hour a week (because 3 kids), but it's absolutely my new favourite thing. Big up to Jake, Garret, Mo and the rest for awesome skills and comedy gold, I've been following you guys all through lockdown. You're onto a good thing, I love the wrestling style psuedo drama stuff you're doing, it's epic. Keep em coming!

Just got into the trampwall stuff and finished this show. Props to everyone for their hard work and insane skills. It's been awesome getting a look into such an obscure and amazing world. I love the comedy and characters and the genuine stuff too. Everyone should be super proud of this show and the rest of the WTF cinematic universe. It was honestly hard to put down. And all this trampwall stuff has inspired me to take the gym and calisthenics more seriously. Thank you Jake!

Gotta say…I like how no one accounts for the fact you’re at least 3 inches taller than everyone else on average (bout a foot taller than Mo and Garret) 😂💀 flips and acrobats are way harder when you’re taller and with longer limbs, closest to you in height is Dillon and I’d say on camera he looks at LEAST a good inch shorter still..and with tucking your legs and pulling flips and twists…that extra inch in height actually screws you over..ESPECIALLY to land in a designated spot 😂💀

It wouldn't surprise me if it's kind of a reaction to how passionately and emotionally Jake takes this sport. It keeps Jake from feeling genuinely ridiculed over the way he takes it to heart like he does and the disappointment he feels from failing to match up to the best. Because they wouldn't be including him in the joke and letting him play into it if they genuinely resented him. It would show him he's a member even if they don't know how to console him when he's taking a hard loss.

I agree. The fake beef stuff is exhausting. I like it when they are sportsmanlike. Part of it is because it's so damn athletic their fake beef gets in the way of feeling the high of the cool trick. My brain says "wow what the fuck was that" even on a miss. And when they interject with insults it feels gross and takes away from the momentum of the trick.

If you want to beat the best, you have to out train the best. If they put in 6hrs a day, you have to put in 12! If they land 100 tricks per day, you have to land 200!! If you only keep up with their pace, you will never beat them. Why do you think Kobe was one of the greatest basketball players? It wasn't because he was naturally better than everyone else.....it's because he was willing to work harder than everyone else was. If you put in the work, the results will speak for themselves.
