This is definitely called visibility/ Insight . Simple but not simple as well. 99% can not find it or even see it but can not take it. Thanks for such fundamental issues explained so vividly with utmost care to make it Simple.

Question 🙋 multiplying area in metre square and rain intensity in mm gives answer in litres? Don't need conversions?

So my question is, how big tank can we put if we want to install a smaller tank than 90kL because we are simultaneously using that water too, so we'll not be able to fully fill the 90kL tank ? How can we calculate that?

Sir, first of all, many many thanks for sharing extraordinary information through your videos.. Each and every bit of information is very very useful to the society and mankind, environment... My sincere Thanks to you once again from the bottom of my heart... Secondly, a small doubt sir... I understood, how much rain water can be received in a single rain, etc. But what size of the Filtration Tank should be constructed according to the roof size. I have seen your another video, where you have constructed two compartments, of which size? and why two compartments are necessary.. I will be very thankful if you clear the doubts... Thank you in advance....🥰🥰🙏🙏

Hi Sir, is this same method as rational? this means 1/360 x A x i x C ?
@JALAJDARPAN Жыл бұрын
Rational method is been derived based on the logic.. That is "A" is the Catchment area or drainage area contributing the flow C is runoff coefficient value which depends upon the type of landcover...so more greener the land area within the catchment less would be runoff coeffcient and due to more infiltration of rainwater to the soil "i "is the rainfall intensity.. it depends upon the time of travel of 1st raindrop to reach from the highest elevation of the catchment to the outlet point of the catchment

I think after learning from u, there is no need for a consultant. But I have a factory of catchment area 4500 square meter. As per ur calculation 7000 meter cubic water we can collect. But if I calculate the same reservoir area it is too big. Can I make it 20%. Because of less area I have.
@HinrenEngineering2 жыл бұрын
For a 20 mm rainfall, the run off is 4500 x 0.8 x 20 = 72,000 liters
@HinrenEngineering2 жыл бұрын
You have to size the tank for single rainfall or at maximum two days of rain .

You can't calculate based on the city..it is estimated based on the catchment which depends on the terrain

As soon as he said measuring in 'square feet' I stopped watching. One millimetre of rainfall on 1 square metre of roof gives an output of 1 litre or water. Collected in your tank this weighs one kilogram. Its not 1923 anymore is'ts 2023 and if a video does not use metric its automatically obsolete
@HinrenEngineering Жыл бұрын
Well, the very next moment, while doing the calculation, it is converted into square meter .
