Make one video explaining the random squad, but for the custom squads you should do different loadouts and suggestions, perhaps based on the achievements. One of my personal favorite mech squads is all 3 rocket mechs. Being both melee and ranged capable as well as tanky enough to block safely most of the time, the flexibility and power of three rocket mechs shouldn't be underestimated. Plus if one of the mechs gets smoke bombs you can turn it into a pseudo-jet mech, and since the squad comes with a storm generator extra smoke works wonders.

I HATE this squad. You don't have to be careful around buildings; you often get into situations where you just can't shift a vek without doing collateral damage to your own grid. I find them miserable to use except on maps that don't have many buildings.

I get that, I always found them fun, but you do need to make sure you try to position your mechs so the vek move towards them rather than the buildings where possible.
