Nice! I especially liked the "elements" you chose that made the beat. A lot of the cats fail to understand that sometimes "less is more." Meaning, sometimes you don't have to have a whole lot of instrumentation (or over-synthesized) elements to make a hot beat or track. Job well done.

@angeriod I appreciate that...this beat came out great in one take....the piano costs about $800 and the looper costs about $500 but you can get them used for much cheaper....and you need an amplifier, another $200 and guitar cables, about $20....get a keyboard with semi-weighted keys....and then add other equipment like I did, good luck

I use the same basic setup. cheap Yamaha keyboard from value village,looper and amp. Btw you can follow him on a lot of keyboards because it uses GM Kits

the amp is a marshall, the looper is made by boss and the model is rc-50, you need a keyboard, looper and an output (any amp will do), I got my looper on ebay and my keyboard at costco, good luck

Amazing video. Amazing tune. I just bought a Yamaha PSR E353 and want to start playing they keyboard. Your video gives me a little inspirational project when I take a break from playing piano scales. I don't know if my keyboard has the same voices and styles as yours. how do you get to the looper??? a looper is a stationary musical instrument that you need to buy separately look up rc-50 looper, you need an amplifier, a piano/keyboard or guitar and a looper to do what I do

@bostonaaron Audacity is a free audio recording program for download. you can run the audio out into your computer and record into Audacity and then convert to MP3. after you have your MP3, you can find other programs to import it into for chopping or sequencing or multitracking with other tracks.

you probably want a midi keyboard...like an akai keyboard, they are around $250 but you need a good music program like Logic, I use Logic. When you use logic your instruments sound more professional and you can burn any song into MP3...I no longer make beats this way on youtube because the sound is distorted and not as professional. My keyboard is really nice but I only got it for 250$. It can record but not loop, in which I had a pedal like looper but it took water damage.. Despite the equipment, my biggest problem is timing. I can never get two melodies to go together at the right time, and when I use metronome to practice, it doesn't seem to help me too much.

its called a loop pedal, it uses the same patch input as an amp so you can record on multiple layering tracks. reverb.com/ca/news/best-loop-pedal-for-under-$150, alternatively if you have a patch adapter for your laptop or pc you can get softward that will do the same thing
