Glad you've gotten to Meteora. It's a great album. On a serious note, I was very depressed as a teenager when I started listening to Linkin Park and they saved my life. Even now as an adult Chester's death hit me hard but, honestly watching you find them and fall in love with them like I did all those years ago has really been making me smile. It's like reliving those memories again. Thank you for doing these. I think it means a lot to all of us Linkin Park fans.

As a guy who has been a huge fan of linkin park from day one and seen them live twice, it is seriously refreshing and awesome to see someone discovering them for the first time and loving their music. A lot of other bands have tried going for the fusion that linkin park did between almost all bands of rock and metal and the hip hop and synth scene but just didn't do it as well. RIP Chester all love and support to his family and friends and to those who are going through similar stuff you are not alone

SilverBladeProductions Saturate has so much swag for a rock album. It’s raw as hell and the guitars/vocals are unmatched. Greatness.
@SilverBladeProductions6 жыл бұрын
Dan Lawrence I'd rate BB's discography as follows: 1. Saturate- untoppable. For a second I thought Ember could beat it, but then I realized... No matter what they do, nothing can ever take Saturate's place in my mind 2. Dear Agony- BARELY above Ember, but still has just some amazing songs that just bring it a bit above Ember, like Lights Out (my personal favorite), Hopeless, Fade Away, etc 3. Ember- BB finally tones down the ballads from Dark Before Dawn and goes back to having those songs that serve merely to rock your face off. For example, Blood. Whenever there's a song like Blood on a BB album, it's usually one of my favorites. Sugarcoat, Believe, Lights Out, Breaking The Silence (maybe Bury Me Alive) and Blood are all one of the highlights of their respective albums. 4. We Are Not Alone- I must be the only person on the planet that prefers songs like Simple Design and Sooner Or Later to the more bombastic Dance With The Devil and such, considering EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER regards Phobia as the definitive BB album. Honestly though, for me this just isn't the case, and I prefer the more simple and straightforward, upbeat and energetic side of BB over their cinematic and poetic side. 5. Phobia- far from a bad album, I simply find it to just not be as good as the top four. That's about all I can say. Topless and Here We Are are criminally underrated though. 6. Dark Before Dawn- the only one I would say that doesn't reach "great". I don't get why many people love Ashes of Eden. A lot of these songs feel rehashed and boring. The Great Divide is such a predictible snoozefest, and after a week of listening to Angel's Fall, I never want to hear it again. It gets too old too fast. The best songs here are Breaking The Silence, Bury Me Alive, Hollow, Never Again, and Failure (even though it's literally Diary Of Jane). The other 7 you can just skip.

Dear Agony is their best album, in my humble opinion.

I love this song live aswell. It was great how Chester and Mike were switching and sharing lines in choruses. My favorite from this album is probably Faint. This album has a bit of a relation to my country, as music videos for Numb and From The Inside were shot in Prague The first song on Meteora, titled Foreword, is just an extended intro to Don't Stay and intro to the album itself. You can hear a sound that sounds like a thunder, then you can hear rain. Over that you can hear glass bottle hitting something numerous times (together with a drum), with the interval between hits getting smaller, until the bottle eventually shatters. That's also the sound you could hear at the very start of this song. This can symbol a storm breaking out (the album is the storm), it can symbol simply a glass bottle broken in an argument (which fits following Don't Stay) or it can symbol the listener breaking into the album. Edit: I just did a little research. It's not a bottle. The song just serves as an intro to the album. It was "written" and recorded at Mike's home studio, by Mike himself. The storm and the rain might actually be real, it might have been recorded during storm. It's Mike smashing a CD burner on a metal table with a baseball bat. During the recording of the album, there were problems with that CD burner. CDs that were meant to be burned in a minute took up to an hour to burn and it was driving them mad. Mike put the burner to the side, knowing he's going to smash it with a baseball bat. After the album was finished, Mike smashed the CD burner and recorded the process. You can actually hear him sigh between some of the hits, just realized that. It was edited, drum was added and it was added onto the album Don't forget to review these other songs I requested in the Meteora yes/no poll. I voted no, as I felt you skipped some songs that you would really love (Technique and Ambient from Hybrid Theory EP, Hybrid Theory version of High Voltage, which is better than the one in HT EP, also Krwlng and P5hng Me A*wy, latter preferably live in Texas and collaboration with X-Ecutioners titled It's Going Down). Try to do them after Meteora, as they wouldn't blend into style of their next album, Minutes To Midnight. Also one song you should check after Meteora is called QWERTY. It wasn't on any album, it was played live many times and they also released the studio version later on CD for their official fan club. It's a great song
