Xg isnt really kpop or jpop think of them more as an international girl group. They do alot of their music in english.

This will be long, but informative. XG’s rap line has what’s called the “XG Tapes”. Tape #1 has Jurin (turning 21 this month) & Harvey (20) rapping over Chill Bill by Rob $tone. Tape #2 is a cypher with all four members of the rap line. Cocona (17/youngest) raps over JID’s Surround Sound. Maya (17) raps over JID’s Down Bad. Harvey raps (and sings) over I Won by Ty Dolla $ign & Jack Harlow. Jurin raps over Saoko by Rosalía. In Tape #3A, Maya & Harvey rap over Two Tens by Anderson Paak & Cordae. And lastly, in Tape #3B, Jurin & Cocona rap over N.O.R.E’s Nothin. I promise, it’s worth it. These girls are students of the rap game.

Fifty Fifty has 2 nice catchy songs (Higher, Cupid), but XG's identity is 90's/Y2K Hip Hop and RnB, and they trained 5 years on it before they debuted last year. It is in their blood, inspired by groups like TLC and Destiny's Child, Lauryn Hill, and they are students of the music Genre. They Rap like no other Kpop group, none come close. They are the epitome of Swag, and they are a Dance crew that can sing beautifully. And they are trilingual, Japanese, Korean, English. All their songs are in English. Cover Rap Tapes are in all 3 languages.
