I really appreciate this video and your commentary during the exercises to keep us entertained. It makes it go by so quickly. I hurt my left hip flexor over the summer from mountain biking. I continued ignoring the pain and pushing through the pain during weight lifting and now it's getting worse. I hope focusing on dedicated light exercises and stretches alleviates the pain. I miss being pain free :(

First, understand that the suffix '-itis' indicates inflammation. Then, try to determine possible causes for inflammation in your hip. As patricia and sp have already recommended, don't eat inflammatory foods like sugar, wheat, processed foods. Do some research, there's lots of good info on KZbin and elsewhere on the web. Also, muscular imbalance can cause bursitis. Start with this program of overall hip strengthening. Be consistent and persistent; it can take weeks of work before the benefits start to manifest. Do research on hip bursitis, too. There are lots of contributing factors, and no specific exercises that will cure it. Just keep working till you find what works for you.

Now I'm hoping this will eventually prevent *both* hips from giving me pain in the future.👍
